So far this has been a perfect replacement. Some reviews stated that it was too large and caused skipping. I've been using it steadily for 8 hours and so far there hasn't been an issue. I am using a large Amazon Basic mousepad. I switched from a Corsair mouse pad for fear that it was too coarse and causing my skates to wear out quicker than they should. I know reviewing after one day of use is early, but as of right now, this has been the perfect replacement. I will update if there are any issues.

I don't have extensive use with them but I took apart my mouse to clean the scroll wheel lock spring thing and I needed new skates to put it back together. It went great and they feel good.

I ended up replacing the cord on my mouse and needed new skates and these work great

Pro tip: The original g502 lightspeed skates are "dual layer". If you think you've removed removed the old skates but DO NOT see screw holes you have NOT FULLY REMOVED the original skates and installing these over the top of a partially removed OEM skate will cause the mouse to be too high where it can't read the surface.Be sure to remove both layers of the old skates until you see screw holes and then these will work just fine.I originally left a scathing 1 star review because I thought these were too thick, but it was just my mistake and didn't realize logitech has a weird 2 part skate OEM.

The mouse wont move at times because its too high from the mouse pad. For gaming you need it to move and be accurate, i took this right off. Dont waste your money on this one

I have both a G502 and the newer G502X. This set is for the original version. The X version has a different pad layout. Not a criticism at all; just be sure of what you're wanting and ordering.These pads work well for me. I'm not a hardcore gamer and not really hard on my mouse. These do make mine move more smoothly and yes, they are thicker than the original pads so the mouse does sit a little bit higher. I don't really notice, other than I visually could see the thickness difference. The mouse still feels fine to me. I've not had any problems with tracking personally. Again though, I'm not a power user so I can't really say otherwise? These are very economical so we're talking about just a few bucks on the line. Best luck.~Cheers!

These skates will revive your gaming mouse smoothness when the original slides wears away after long usage. After newly installing, this does make the mouse sit higher. Hopefully after some usage, the skates will compress a little.

After Installing these the mouse no longer worked on my current mouse pad. It would not disconnect but just stutter or stop working, not ideal when gaming. I then picked up the Logitech G240 cloth gaming pad and no more stuttering or stopping. Be sure to use the alcohol pad to remove any residual adhesive left on the mouse.

Perfectly replaced the ones originally on the mouse which were worn out.Feel is very smooth and swift: "Teflon touch".Pay attention when removing the old ones, as they separate in two layers (see the picture). If the two are correctly removed, you should see the plastic body with screw holes (see the picture).

Replaced my old skates with these ones, it now glides perfectly!

Once applied to mouse it certainly glides more efficiently on the mouse pad but the sensor in the mouse won't register due to the gap

They're ok, they fit, but the glue could be better. Don't bend them or it will never fit
