You can pick either 3" or 5" on most or all. Inseam in reality is slightly shorter than what is listed, so unless you're looking to display your behind, 5" (more like 4 3/4") would be better.

Q: I'm plus size 18/20 what size should I get?

I am a size 12. I bought the large as per the size chart and it is to tight to wear. Columbia tends toward a slim torso. I think much depends on where you carry you weight. At least one size up.
