The little imperfections are what make it so special, and yet it's not distracting from the photo itself. Some frames are so ornate that they're more interesting to look at than the photo they're framing. But this has the perfect balance of design and function.The color of the wood is very pretty and natural and I imagine will fit in with just about any type of home decor. Like I mentioned already, most of my other picture frames are sleek and simple, so this one really pops and helps to balance everything out in the gallery wall where I'm currently using it.You can put this on a table top or credenza or you can hang it on the wall in either landscape or portrait orientation. A very versatile piece that is such a refreshing deviation from the norm. Would make a great gift, too, if you wanted to put a special photo in it for a loved one. And you can be sure it'll go with their decor since it's so singular and the earth tones go with everything.

This is very unusual and pretty frame. It has a thick mangowood makeup and a nice amount of inner smooth wood frimaing whatever image or insects you decide to add (these are not real butterflies, they are made of feathers and styrofoam).When it arrived I was super impressed with how solid it is and the backing including the stand, is very sturdy. But I decided to paint it anyway, hardly any of the frames in my home are unpainted. So I thinned out some copper and gold gauche paint and added a few thin layers, I also added a tiny bit of carribbean blue to make it look a little more weathered. The paint turned a bit crackly and bubbled looking, something in the finish on the wood, but actually, it makes me like it more, now it looks like an antique.Anyways, this frame doesn't arrive looking gilded, but it was a ten minute paint job to make it so if anyone is so inclined. But even unpainted, this frame is so so pretty, and definitely mantel worthy.

This frame is nice in concept but POOR in quality. The wood is nice and thick but it's not square. I'm surprised the glass didn't break as it was jammed into the picture window. Luckily I have some wood shaving tools and was able to correct the area that holds the picture. The rest of the frame is also NOT SQUARE. Looking at it on the wall, it looks like a fun-house frame, it's wonky and misshapen. It would be worth the price point IF and ONLY IF the quality assurance was there. Too bad. Not worth my time and gas to return, so I'll make it work.

This 5x7 frame is pretty, unique, and is versatile enough to fit in nicely with a lot of different décor styles - farmhouse, coastal, boho, eclectic, etc. Neutral color, classic detailing, and solid quality.The frame itself is made of wood and glass; no mat. There is a stand on the back to set on a table or shelf, but no hanging options, so if you plan to have it on a wall you will need your own hardware or Command hooks.Altogether very pleased with this frame’s quality and versatility!

I love having pictures of my family out, and this mango wood frame really is so pretty. It's nicely carved and smoothed, and it's a single piece of wood. The back props the picture up at the right angle on my shelf, and because it's a nice, neutral color of wood, it goes with so many decor styles (mine is a bit eclectic, so this frame fits right in). The price is really great for a beautiful piece of wood (not pressed or pieced together like lesser frames can be), and would make a perfect gift for grandparents, friends, engagements or weddings.

I love this frame, it really grows on you. The color of the mango wood adds a nice warmth to your space & the hand carving is stunning. It is so evenly spaced & the more you look at it, the more gorgeous it becomes. The finish is smooth It fits in with a variety of styles from boho to rustic & its overall construction is very solid. The back is snug, the sides are tightly joined & your photo doesn't budge once in place. The front is actually glass too, not plastic/acrylic. Really pretty frame for any space!
