First off, this is a solid wood table. No particle board or laminate. This table is HEAVY and solid. It's a beautiful piece and it was a great price. Now, there are a lot of parts, and takes two people a few hours to assemble, but it was really easy overall. The parts all go together perfectly. No mismatched holes, everything is aligned perfectly. I would definitely recommend this.

Solid Wood. Beautiful set. There are some fake, styled-in wear-n-tear markings that are completely unnecessary. I appreciate that the manufacturer is going for the 'pre-ripped jeans' look with this dining table and chairs, but not really needed and a bit cartoonish. Shouldn't be a deal breaker for buying though. The quality:cost ratio is great!

I have to give it 4 stars because I really do like it. I think it's very pretty and is certainly an impressive table. The quality is not outstanding, but exceeds the quality of any tables I've seen in furniture stores that cost twice as much. Though, that may depend on how carefully you put it together. This is not your typical prefab furniture, it is held together with screws and glue and a really well designed support system. The chairs are especially nice. They're very solid, comfortable, and look better than ANY chairs I've seen for sale since I've been looking. All in all, it's a pretty great table!... and that's where the praise stops. It was an absolute nightmare to put together. You sincerely have no idea what you're in for from the looks of it! It's strange because I praise it for using "real" hardware like screws and woodglue, but that's part of what makes it a pain to put together. There are hundreds (several hundreds) of screws! THAT IS NOT AN EXAGGERATION. The funny part is that the instructions tell you not to use any power tools. The funnier part is that I complied and did more than half of them by hand before I finally pulled out a drill. Some of the other reviews claim that it takes about 3 hours to put together, but I frankly can't believe that. It would take an hour to open the 4 boxes and lay out all of the pieces! I undertand that I work a little slowly, I was working on it by myself, and I was working on it in a less than ideal environment, but I can't be that far off. I spent 4 hours putting the chairs and bench together, and wasn't phased because I thought those would be the worst part. They weren't. The table itself was soooo much worse. I couldn't believe how many pieces were required under the table surface to act as strengthening and support. I work slowly and surely, but there's no freaking way someone can put this thing together in 3-4 hours. To date, I've spent at least 10-12 hours and I'm not quite done yet.I'm not done yet because when I was nearing the end, I discovered that I was missing pieces. This is not uncommon from what I can tell in reading the reviews, but no less frustrating. The good news is that the manufacturer seems to have very good customer service. They replied promptly to my claim and are in the process of sending out the necessary pieces. There also was a defective piece on one of the chairs, and they're replacing that too.I'm certain that I will never order another large table like this online ever again. I think I'll just pay the extra money to have one that's fully assembled already. However, since I already have it, I must admit that I'm pretty happy with it and it is a 5 star table. (-0.5 stars for being a nightmare to put together, -0.5 stars for having to wait for replacement pieces).

This table is so beautiful and really exceeded my expectations for the price. It’s SOLID and was very simple to put together. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, though I did need to use some of my own wood glue to finish the project (the two vials they provide weren’t enough). We are also having a slight issue getting one of the leaves to lock into the latch, but it’s nothing that can’t be fixed with a little extra time. Even so, we are super happy with this purchase and highly recommend!

This bench is great. It's very heavy and substantial. Fits 3 kids or 2 adults side-to-side comfortably, and is wide enough for adults to sit on without falling off the back. Easy to put together. It's a warm dark brown with black accents to give it a "worn" look. The accents are obviously machine-made if you look up close, but look good from afar. Overall, a great bench for extra seating at my table, that I won't be afraid kids will push back and fall off of or break.

The table arrived in a box that was less than secure. There was no way that I could assemble it by myself, given the very large numbers of screws needed to secure the table. Such screws did not have precut holes. In addition, 1 piece that went under the table was split in 2. (I reported this to the company and heard nothing back.) After we assembled the table, each of the 3 panels on top had damage as well. Photos are attached. After spending 7 hours assembling the table, it is difficult to take it apart and return it. I have asked the company for wood filler and stain, but expect not to hear from them. I suggest Amazon NOT sell this table and buyers not buy it.

I got the table because it looked nice and plain in the pictures and reviews said it was very sturdy. It took my husband and me, together, 6 hours of very solid work to assemble all the pieces. The assembly instructions specifically advise against using a power drill and there are no pilot holes so a spectacular amount of elbow grease and blisters were required for a few hundred screws.From a distance the table is very attractive now that it is built but the finishing and details are very crude. “Distress” marks look weird and fake, as if stamped onto the furniture using some kind of big pyrography machine or a laser. Not natural looking, rather tacky actually, and it distracts from the otherwise clean lines of the piece. I think we could have done better if we knew then what we know now. Would have ordered a different table. As it stands we will probably use this one for a year in the dining room to make it feel like it was worth our money and effort, and then either sell it or retire it to a screen porch. Meh.

Assembly was straightforward after the first go around, the end pieces are a little funny and a bit irksome if they pop out on their own, however they seem sturdy and have been able to withstand my four gremlins. The markings on the benches are odd but otherwise glad it’s solid and beautiful color.

Probably the best solid table out there. It's real hard wood Made to last years. Installation is very demanding and it can take 4 hours plus for a layman. Each piece is a piece of art and the stock I received said 2016 ( made I guess) leaf ensures an easy fit for 8 people.

Love the rustic style...solid, and easy to assemble....they look great with our old table...😊

The wood is hard and they didn't even bother to pre-drill some guide holes for the screws. If you don't have power tools, save yourself the headache. Tore my hands up screwing this together by hand. Every part of it needs to be screwed on. The two extensions at the end are supported by two pieces of wood that are about only an inch thick. Don't put anything heavy on those ends.

Happy with the bench. Solid peace of furniture for our busy kitchen. The designed scratches and etching could be more discrete.

Beautifull wooden bench! Easy to put together. Nicely finished. Looks great in our white kitchen with a wooden table top.
