It was advertised with 10 18gauge cartridges but came with 6 in the box and 4 36gauge stuck on the outside of the box...now to see if the 36....and surprise surprise it does not fit the M8S😡

Micro-needling is something that I have never really considered as the thought of having numerous needles constantly jabbing my skin isn’t on my wish list, lol. However I have had tattoos many years ago so I decided that it can’t be any worse than that and decided to give it a go.This Dr Pen kit is well made to a high standard with clean lines and no burrs from the moulding process. I found the pen comfortable to hold and use with the whole process not being as bad as I originally thought it would be. Along with the main unit comes a set of ten needle sets which are individually wrapped and fit to the unit easily.The unit itself has an easy to read display and charges using a USB-C connection which most people will have in their home nowadays but a charger and cable are supplied along with the rest of the kit so it is ready to use out of the box.The idea behind this treatment is that the skin thinks it has been damaged and needs repair so new skin growth is promoted covering scars, acne, and hopefully some of the signs of aging too but only time will tell exactly how well this does work although much of what I have read seems to be positive.I had tried a much cheaper kit a while ago, well when I say tried I actually mean that it just looked and felt to scary to use so I didn’t bother in the end, lol.This system is much friendlier and at a higher cost the quality difference is evident just by the looks and feel of the device. I have only used it a couple of times so far to try to get rid of some old teenage acne scars on my face that I have always been conscious of and which as I get older seem to becoming more noticeable. So far I have had no problems using this and with 18 needles per tip it covers a good area quite quickly.Only time will tell how effective this will be so if anything changes from the positive way I feel about it now I will update this review.Terrific device, well built and easy to use.Recommended.

The quality of this micro needling kit it excellent and it’s a premium product that’s worth getting in my opinion. It’s far cheaper than going to my local salon and it’s very easy to use at home. I like that it’s straightforward to operate and the instructions are easy for me to follow. I’ve been using it for my crows feet and fine lines and I’ve seen an improvement in the appearance of them already which is awesome. I like that the pen is a good size, lightweight and comfortable for me to hold. The pen also has a battery life indicator which is very helpful and I find that the battery life is long lasting. It’s also super handy to have the needle cartridges included in the pack and it’s easy for me to change them over. The pen also has 6 different speeds and it’s easy for me to change between them. I must admit I was a bit nervous about trying this but it’s so simple and easy to do so I feel this set is ideal for beginners like myself. The kit comes with everything included so I’ve not needed to get anything extra which is good and the whole kit is very strong, sturdy and durable so it’ll last me a long time. I’ve not had any issues with using it and it’s not caused me any pain or discomfort. I’ve also not noticed any irritation to my sensitive skin either so I feel it’s suitable for people with sensitive skin like myself. I highly recommend this kit and I think it’s excellent value for money. It gets a huge thumbs up from me.

This is a fantastic home kit. Has everything you need in one box. It also comes with its own storage box which is always ideal.
