Eddington Italian Olive Wood Wide Pierced Spatula, Handcrafted in Europe, 12.5-Inches

This is a great cooking tool!! When I first received it I was surprised to see that it had a slight curve because I thought I had ordered a straight one. However, this is so much better than what I had. It's easier to use with my arthritis and is so wonderful to use while cooking. Am going to order another in case my husky decides to chew on this one!!

UPDATE: Despite the cracks and chips that that developed in the first two months, there has not been any other deterioration and I do like the spatula so I will change this rating from three stars to four stars.This was my first ever wooden spatula. I didn't use it very often. Maybe one to three times a week. I just used it with things like oatmeal and scrambled egg whites. But as you can see from the picture, a piece of wood came off. I don't think these are very durable as this happened after around two months of light use. Would I buy it again? I don't know. I want to, but if the second one chips, I'm done. I will keep my eye out for others. I like the size, shape, and weight of it. Oh, and the aesthetics were nice too.

I was afraid when my spatula arrived it would look bland and feel like a cheap utensil I could have purchased anywhere. I’m pleasantly surprised it has a beautiful grain & glow. The design is perfect (except it’s angled for right-handed peeps!) The leading edge is thin, allowing better control when flipping hot items- I pan-fried Cod with ease tonight.I feel this is a good buy for a well made olive wood spatula. It’s also made in Europe, NOT CHINA!!!

I use this multiple times daily. Love it. If you are switching from plastic/nylon -- this is the closest I've seen to having that same type of performance.

Wooden spoons? Awkward. Silicon spatulas? Smell funny. Anything metal? Get away from my enameled pots and delightfully dangerous nonstick pans.I don't know why, but this thing is the perfect shape. For everything. Stirring and scooping and I guess it's not for ladling, but just get yourself a ladle. Or use a measuring cup, which is what I actually do (pro tip).Anyway, I love this thing, and I have three of them, and I might buy more just so that the drawer can get crowded. Since I threw out the wooden spoons.They eventually get dingy and scratched and burnt because my love is a difficult love, but that just gives them a velveteen-rabbit patina. I love them.

I've been making scrambled eggs with this for over 6 years, and it's still perfect. I've never oiled it. I just wash like normal in the sink

I just love it, sturdy beautiful exactly what I wanted. Will order more from this brand on the futur !
