It works great for grinding dried herbs into my cooking pot 😋

I had such high hopes that this item would actually work and beautifully chop fresh herbs, but it doesn't. For delicate herbs like fresh basil, oregano, mint, etc, it bruises the leaves and doesn't even closely resemble an even chop. It does chop herbs to a passable state if you are putting them into a sauce or a soup. If you're looking for a sprinkle of fresh basil over a Caprese salad or a finely chopped herb blend for bruschetta, keep looking. In fact, don't even bother to look. Just buy a really good knife and a nice cutting board. The best thing about a knife and cutting board, they also perfectly cut more than just fresh herbs!

Used it today for the first time and am already in love! I am getting one for anyone in my family I know who uses fresh herbs

The herb stripper works pretty great.The dry leafy herbs, such as basil, did not come out the grinder.I tried several times according to directions and it does not work.Very disappointed.

It does chop the herbs fairly well. But, its difficult to clean. De-stemming doesn't work that well.

This product works perfectly in grinding dried OR freshly picked herbs onto food, or into recipes, etc. It cleans up easily, too! The grindings come out perfectly sized!

Knife works better

I purchased this for one of my children. I had already purchased 2 years before and use it frequently I grow my own herbs in my home. It comes in very handy when you're in a hurry and both my son and myself are very pleased to have the handy device and are kitchen.

It is great for cutting fresh herbs- you must separate the stem, and there is a place to pull the herbs from the stems. Great for parsley, oregano, sage and others shreds well
