This was for an Anniversary gift. It is beautiful.

I love lanterns and this one does not disappoint. It is beautiful and the rose gold accent is so elegant. I do recommend getting rechargeable batteries and maybe a brighter bulb. The light is not that bright and you can barely see it. Other than that it is perfect!

My wife and I just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. When I saw this 30th wedding anniversary commemorative lamp, it piqued my interest. When I received it, I was impressed with the presentation of the lamp.The lamp is made of wood, glass and rose gold stainless steel. The glass is tempered glass The frame is all wood. It is a very light wood. The finish on the wood is plain white paint. In each of the 4 sides there is a nice pane of actual glass. The top of the lamp is made of a thin sheet of rose gold stainless steel.. There is a handle atop that, also made of thin srose gold stainless steel. The stainless steel has apparently been treated with probably a clear lacquer to prevent tarnishing of the copper.There is a candle inside. For all the world it looks like a white pillar candle, but it is an electric candle! Had me fooled until I stuck my finger in the candle and found the light bulb! The candle has a timer. It turns on for 6 hours, then off for 18 hours. There is a battery compartment in the base of the lamp. It has a plastic battery compartment cover, secured by a small screw. No batteries come with the lamp. It requires two triple-a batteries.The presumed front of the lamp is a door held closed by a nice silvery catch. On the glass pane of the door are inscriptions, in clear gold paint, in the theme of the marriage celebration. This is reflected in inscriptions, also in clear gold paint, on the opposite side of the lamp. The construction is clean and straight, but the overall lightness of the lamp as a whole feels like it isn't a lamp made of the highest quality components.The lamp is very pretty, and it is well made. No complaints there. For the price and presentation I give it 5 stars.

This lantern is so pretty yet to look at the back side it was chipped in two places. Can’t give it as a gift now. Very disappointed.
