Got this for camper conversion! Exactly what I needed.

One of us bought one of those extendable work tables and found the original hinges supplied to be rather filmsy. Before long the extension was hanging off one hinge as the other hand simply given way. We bought these hinges and used them in place of the original hinges. They work well and and don't appear to be straining under the weight of the extension. Really glad we got them.

I do like piano hinge so I am already halfway there in liking this product. When you order this you get two 6 inch lengths of hinge and the screws to go with them. They are coated black but underneath are steel. One would need to be confident of the coating if you intend to use them in a boat. However domestically they are ideal for a number of jobs.I am planning to install inspection hatches in the back of some kitchen furniture . This is to reach a couple of inconveniently placed stopcocks. It would be very, very inconvenient to relocate htem. This hinge will be perfect for the job. A particular advantage, especially when working in a confined space, is that although you can misalign a pair of conventional hinges this doesn't happen with piano hinge.
