I have been looking for a temporary color to give my hair a bit of highlight. I have gray hair, thin & short, and it's hard to find a color & a pomade that isn't pasty. This works great. The pink is such a nice color.

I had high hopes for this product, and it ended up being a disaster. First off I have dark thick hair so I was already expecting to be using most of the container for the pink color show. The pink coloring was so washed out and you could barely even tell it was pink. The paste itself made my hair feel so brittle and hard. On the instructions it said to use a brush to evenly spread it out. That just made it worse, at that point I had a lot of hair falling out. My hair brush is completely stained from the paste. I tried more water in my hair since I know it said your hair had to be 20% wet, but that just made it worse. You can just imagine the pink got everywhere. I ended up just washing the whole thing out because it was so gross. My bathtub got stained as well from the pink, I had to like deep scrub it. I will give it the one star because the paste did come off easier than I expected. I would also keep your pets away from this process, my cat loves being with me in the bathroom and a drop of the watery paste fell in her eye. Thankfully I had eye wash to clean it out. So disappointed in this paste, I ended up getting a wig at spirit at the end and that was so much better

We used this product on my son’s hair since he had a “Barbie Day” at school and wanted to give him some Kenergy. He has dark brown curly hair and this product applied pretty well as you can see. We also added some glitter spray to it (like the kind cheerleaders use). It’s not 100% pink, that would only be something you’d get if you had like bleached blond or white hair to start with. But it’s pretty good and we applied when damp and used the hair spray to set it. Washed out very easily, but it’s a one time application, you wouldn’t want to sleep in it and since it’s wax I don’t think it’d be comfy in long hair but haven’t tried it myself.One issue is it does get everywhere. You bump into something and you’re leaving pink streaks. So if you slept in it? Ho boy. But it washes out of everything fine. Clothes, hands, our car lol but just keep it in mind.

It works great on dark hair as well as light. My son loves to use this to give his hair some color. Orange is more visible, almost like highlights. Purple is very visible too but not super bright. He is able to apply these and go to school without any issues. It does not stain hands or clothes. Once it is dried, it will keep your hair in place like gel, unless you brush it.

I got the pink, which I expected to be a rose gold or dusty rose color. It ended up a washed out silvery lavender. The color isn't necessarily horrible, but not near what I expected and isn't that great even for being a lavendar. The wax itself was pretty runny and if I barely brushed my hand on, it would disappear. I have dark hair which I know makes a difference, but I have some other colors like this of a different brand that work amazingly. Even with those other ones, a couple colors weren't exactly as expected, but were still nice. This pink just sucks as a pink, it's kinda okay as lavender I guess, but it's still pretty underwhelming.

I absolutely love this product and want to try more colors! Application was super easy. I bought 2 jars thinking I would need it for my thick, curly hair but got great coverage with just one jar. I definitely recommend applying when your hair is damp. Hair texture was crunchy to the touch when fully dry but it looked great! There was minimal color transfer to clothing once the wax was dry. The back of my collar was just a little green from my ponytail but there were no green flakes on my shirt. It came out easily with just one good scrub and shampoo. (Note: Also ordered my Joker tattoos from Amazon)
