Unbelievably poor quality
Product lasted about 10 opening and closings of the tailgate. One side will unlatch other won’t. Took me awhile to install and by the time I had used it a week the return window was closed. DO NOT BUY!

WMPHE Tailgate Hardware Rebuild Kit Compatible with 2007-2014 Chevy Silverado
I got this for an 07 GMC sierra. Every so often while we were driving down the road we would hear a loud noise, it was very startling. The tailgate would fall down and shake the whole truck at first we thought we hit something. This fixed our problem. It did not come with instructions but it was very easy to install. It came with all of hardware needed I would highly recommend

Quit working
Camera worked for a whole 5 hrs and then nothing.

Does not fit a 2012 Silverado.
Rods were 1/4 inch too short. Small plastic clips were broken upon arrival. Metal used in fabrication was significantly thinner than original parts. there was no opening for the back up camera on the handle frame. Definitely not to spec for a 2012 Silverado.
