It is a unique aquatic plant that is beautiful in appearance and easy to raise. It is very suitable for small tanks such as shrimp tanks. It adds aesthetics and helps stabilize water quality. When planting, you don't need to put it into the soil, just put it in the water.

Small but mighty.
I had very low expectations about mail-order moss balls, but these are healthy and cute. They are tiny (smaller than a ping pong ball by quite a bit), but they’re green and not overly “furry” like some of the moss balls I’ve seen in pet stores. I’m not partial to the moss balls that look fuzzy and have tentacles. These are compact and with a short pile (so to speak). I’ve had them several weeks and they still look great, so I’m extremely pleased with this purchase!

Really nice looking moss
The two moss balls looked really healthy when they arrived. They are nice sized and only took about 4 hours to sink rather than float.

Horrible quality
Updating this review: after product was missing and out for delivery for over a week it was finally delivered. Both moss "balls" are smaller than a quarter and one is unraveling/having chunks come off. DO NOT waste your money.

Tiny and cute
I bought a small fishbowl for these two and they fit perfectly. Very healthy, though one got a little squished in transit.

On the small size but in good condition
I love moss balls and they have been hard to find lately. They came shipped in a wet package, which was my primary concern. They stayed plenty moist. The size always varies with these guys and while they were not tiny, they are on the small size. Still, it was good value for the cost and I have no issue with them. I have had them for about a month now and they are healthy and thriving, so they are in good condition with good color.

Decorative and effective way to control algae, ect.
I got this two days after placing the order, so I was pleasantly surprised. The moss balls arrive in a plastic bag with air in it, so they arrive healthy. They're a rich, vibrant green when they arrive. My betta fish love cuddling up to them, which is cute.This is a great way to control algae, nitrate and nitrite levels, without breaking the bank and adding aesthetic appeal to your aquarium/habitat.

Smaller than expected
Two small artificial moss balls..soft..about a US 25cent diameter. .my shrimp don't care for it. Quality is lower than expected.

Small but cute
They look super green, small but they are not super tiny so I’m glad.Customer service was very responsive when asked about how zebra mussels and was also told that they go through quality control including inspections and preventive treatments, specifically designed to ensure that their marimo balls do not harbor zebra mussels.
