Folded not rolled as in picture.
Though the product seems to be of reasonable quality what I received is not " 6mm thick double bubble insulation foil sheet" its barely 3mm thick and it was folded not rolled as shown in the product picture so it has fold creases which means it doesn't lay flat to the wall, which I presume its meant to do, even after laying it flat overnight and allowing it to "rest" it still doesn't hang/sit properly.Had we not needed it now I would have returned it mainly because of the thickness issue as the creases may ease after being hung and warmed by the radiator for a while.

Was sceptical but now convinced
I bought 2 rolls of the 24metre by 0.6metre. One of these rolls covered the conservatory roof panels which were 3.6metre by 0.7metre, so a 10cm strip to add down the side of each roof panel. The other roll covered the lower parts of the two outer walls which have no proper cavavity insulation, plus a bit more for the upper area on one side. The number of Sticky Dots provided were just about sufficient because I had to be a bit generous with those especially on the roof panels.I'm a 'belt n braces' kinda person, so for the roof I also used dabs of no-nails on the insulation materials in between the dots.. I did this because I needed to ensure adhesion to the plastic panels. I did cut the full length of the roof panels so I did not have joins, rather than cut them into 1.5metre lengths which would be easier to fit.The sticky dots: Well, these are sticky! better than other's I have used. The glue is strong and makes the skin sore when peeling them off the finger tips - wear thin work gloves! But no complaints, they do the job.Make sure that as far as you can, the area to stick them to is as clean and dry as you can get it.I am going to buy more of this for insulating other rooms to conserve heating this winter!Good product.

Great quality
The media could not be loaded. This insulated foil sheet is great, it's very lightweight and easy to cut to size. With it's reflective coating it blocks the heat and light from passing through and also stops heat escaping, the sun can shine all day and the inside is still cool to touch. The kit come complete with window fixing pads which detach and reattach when required. The foil sheet is very strong but extremely flexible and features small air pockets to trap heat. Excellent for conservatorys, greenhouses, sheds, boats cars. There are so many insulating uses for this foil and it can also be used for just creating tempory privacy due to its complete blackout design. I am Very happy with this product and with it's excellent value would certainly purchase more.

Expensive for what you get
This was used to insulate the sides of our swimming pool to keep heat in.First off, this is thinner than what I got down the local well known hardware shop. Its also much smaller in length. But it does to the job. just not aswell as other products.

Works well for reflecting...
Sadly I didn't have any of this last year when we had those exceptional summer temperatures and missed out on the early part of the season this year. I have found that this does reflct the sun's radiation so my lounge is a fair bit cooler so this will be used for next summer.Although we are now heading towards winter I am expecting this shiny bubblewrap type material to help retain the heat in the lounge as much as it reflects it as the sun rises.Basically, in the summer this product acts a bit like a mirror in bouncing the sun's radiation away from the property so I won't be suffering indoors at temperatures well into the mid 40c as early as 5am. As the summer sun rises the heat / radiation is magnifies as it passes through the double glazing so it has been impossible to cool the property down, even with multiple fans running around the clock. Now I can bounce much of that heat / radiation away so as the summer sun rises at 4:30am it will no longer be like turning an oven on and suffering as the temperature rises rapidly. As for this coming winter, I do expect this product to work just as well as it is like I stated earlier, "shiny bubblewrap". The air that is trapped inside the bubbles will heat up from the room's heat and act as a thermal barrier that will make the double glazing more effective. There is an alternative and that is to get triple glazing installed but to do that in a city would cost as much as a four bedroomed house with a half acre garden elsewhere so that's not the best of solutions. This bubblewrap type of product is an excellent alternative as it is cheap, very, very, very cheap compared with new windows. If you don't have one yet it would be worth investing in a thermal metre so you can see the cold spots around windows and doors. Where there is a cold spot this product can easily and quickly be installed to insulate those spots.. Themal metres don't cost much but they can help save a lot of money if one can see where the heat loss is worst and can take measures to reduce that heat loss thus not needing to burn so much gas to keep a room or a property warm. The savings alone will pay for this product and much more.I am recommending this product as although it may be a simple and basic thing it is a great solution and it is good value.
