UPDATE: We brought Leo to the vet again today for a routine exam. I put the calming collar on Leo an hour before we left. He was fine going. AND calm when we left vet and started driving the 30+ minutes home. NO PANIC ATTACK!! I wanted to provide this follow on feedback to show it must be this calming collar. There is no other explanation. THIS PRODUCT WORKS FOR US AS ADVERTISED!Our Frenchie goes into full blown panic attacks when riding in the car to the vet. It gets really bad after leaving the vet's office when the real panic attack starts and progresses during our 30 minute ride home to the point where he is wheezing and can hardly catch his breath. The panic attack continues when we arrive home for about 20 or so minutes. There is nothing we can do but to let him walk it off and drink water.We never had this issue when my other fur baby was alive because he would ride with Leo. We were about to switch vets to a practice closer to home. I thought of trying this calming collar as a last resort. Although the reviews were so positive, my husband and I had serious doubts this would work. Well, we were wrong!After leaving the vet's office today, we put Leo in the car as usual. He sat quietly during the ride home. His breathing was almost normal. When we arrived home, he calmly entered the house. He drank some water and then sat down. UNBELIEVABLE DIFFERENCE!!!We will continue using the calming collar when he has his vet visits. I have a very high-strung dog that really gets anxious with loud noises, especially thunderstorms. Wearing the collar had calmed her enough to actually lay down and rest instead of pacing the floor and whining constantly.I would definitely recommend to anyone who has an overly excitable dog.

I have a high anxiety pup who does well when I am home. Unfortunately, I have to leave her occasionally. A friend recommended these collars. A return from a doc appt led me to find my pup quietly on my bed and nothing was askew. She sat right up, happy to see me but not shaking or whining. Nothing destroyed! I feel so much better knowing that she is safe & comfortable. It was well worth the cost. I put the collar in a zip lock bag just to offset any possibility that it might fade over time. I put the collar in my dogs crate instead of herself and she gravitate more towards there now. It seems to be helping a lot when we are not around and I does smells awesome!
