These 3 900ml jars look perfect on my Welsh dresser. I have bought lots of kilner jars in the past so am always slightly skeptic of other similar models as often they can be cheap and ineffective. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of these jars and will definitely purchase more now I know how good they are.I have used them to store dry goods such as nuts, lentils, cereals and have also used them to refrigerate fruits. I have found they keep refrigerated goods fresher for MUCH longer than plastic Tupperware, so although they are slightly more pricey - they are so worth it.They come really well packaged, in a cardboard box with 3 compartments and are so well presented you could definitely give them as a gift. For their price I would highly recommend these versatile glass jars.

Lovely jars, they look very nice, strong and sturdy and the lids close well. I didn’t give 5 stars as they are bigger than the description says and they don’t fit for what I needed. Kept them as too much hassle to return.

DESCRIPTIONThese glass jars arrive in a set of three. They come in one large box, which is then divided into three smaller individual boxes. Each jar is protected in bubble wrap inside. They measure 10 cms in diameter and are 12.5 cms tall, and are 900 ml. They all feature bamboo lids with a silicone ring which makes them airtight. They are made from Borosilicate glass meaning they will not crack under extreme temperatures making them safe for use in a microwave or fridge.OPINION:I do have several sets of glass jars for storing items, but I didn’t have any in this particular size.The glass feels substantial, and has a nice rolled edge. The bamboo lids are not only more environmentally friendly, but they also look attractive. The only niggle I have is that the bamboo on my lids does not match. I appreciate that bamboo is a natural product, and is therefore subject to variation, but whoever packed them, could have picked matching lids. The ones I have had from other suppliers all match almost perfectly.That aside they are great jars which look clean and tidy in my kitchen. They complement the others I have very well. They work out at £5.50 per jar, which is rather on the expensive side, but they will be perfect for storing my rice, pasta, and pulses. I was tempted to put my treats inside (nuts, sweets etc,), but seeing them through the glass would be too tempting to keep dipping in !!I do also think they would look attractive in a bathroom or on a dressing table for storing cotton wool balls, hair scrunchies etc.I am therefore happy to give the Scorpeon Glass Jars 4 out of 5 stars.Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has proven helpful.
