As a Kindergarten Teacher who focuses on Montessori Practices, Play and imaginative play, plays a huge role in learning. Children learn through imaginative and realistic play. And personally I just LOVE wooden toys as they are just so much more durable and esthetically pleasing. Which is EXACTLY what this beautiful baking set is!! This set is BEAUTIFULLY made. So much so that I seriously think that this could be an heirloom item that could be passed down to generations to come, it seriously is Gorgeous. 😍** Things I ABSOLUTELY LOVE about this Beautiful Set (PROS)**-Well Made, The Paint and the wood pieces are smooth and beautiful. Seriously good quality stuff.-I LOVE that there are 2 sets of cookies to put into the cookie sheet, but what is even better is that the cookies are different shapes, which greatly helps with shape recognition. In addition to the shapes, I love the beautiful colors and designs of the cookies. It would be easy for a parent to give specific characteristics of a cookie to have their child hand it to them. For example "Can you hand to me the Yellow Rectangular cookie with Stripes? How many stripes do you see?"-I LOVE LOVE LOVE how there is actual measurements markings on the measuring bowl as well as the measuring cup. I think it makes it that much more realistic which can greatly help with math and counting. "How many cups of flour do we need until we reach the 100ml line?" Kids LOVE toys that are realistic as it truly makes them feel as though they are using the items that the adults are using.-Again its so pretty, Incredibly esthetically pleasing. I would not be mad having these laying around the house as it is so cute.-And Can we just take a moment to admire the adorableness of this tiny scale. I have looked at many wooden baking toy sets for my child, and this is one of the few that I have found that have such a darling and realistic little scale. The only thing that I wish was that there were number markings on the scale, or maybe a magnet piece that you could place how much the different item weighs. But that is just an added little extra. It seriously is SO SO cute.I LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about this set, and my child has already had HOURS of endless fun playing and LEARNING from this set. First of all, this is really high quality food set, and it’s completely adorable. My daughter has loved using this for bringing me breakfast in bed in the mornings. It’s so cute. It has a variety of food items to use, and comes with utensils, a plate, a frying pan, a cup, and several condiments. My personal favorite is the cheese because you can lift the lid and pull out slices of cheese. It’s too cute. The food is diverse enough that you could pretend to be bringing someone breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It’s a great way to get your child’s imagination churning.

These toy foods are incredible quality. We’ve purchased many sets of Melissa and Doug food. This is comparable to their quality. Maybe better! The edges are all smooth and rounded. These do NOT break easy. I have 3 kids 5,3& 18 months. My 18 month old is a rough little boy. He plays with his older sisters often with these and he isn’t gentle with anything. I couldn’t believe he hasn’t broken a single piece yet. Even banging them on the floor and biting them. Nothing. Not a sign of wear or anything. There is many pieces so I do recommend getting a small tote to store them in. My kids all engage in playing restaurant, mommies and so forth with this set.

I bought this and within 2 playtime, the whisk, the tea cups and the tea pot fell apart! Children are not playing rough in any way. Ive had to fix the whisk over 20 times and it still is falling apart. I tried fixing the cups and tea pot and again, it just became a hazard! This was not made up to par. The quality is horrendous, no matter how cute the pictures depict it.

The box was damaged and some of the toy was broken.

Not a bad kit, but the items are very tiny. For our toddler, they are a bit tiny to use and play with. The products are nice and sturdy which is a plus, but the kit is just small so it doesn’t get a lot of use here.

This set is very fun and versatile. There are lots of fun food options, and it’s great for building gross motor and tactile skill’s because there are little pieces and places to fit everything into. I would caution parents with babies/tots who put things in their mouth a lot, the chunks of butter are about an inch, and can fit in the mouth. If you just take them out until your child is done with that stage you can still use everything else. I like that this set is designed for small hands. It’s absolutely adorable, and everything is wood! I see what some reviewers said about the slightly rough/unfinished edges in the tray. I took close -up pics to show that. However, I ran my finger over all of them and pressed hard- the wood bits are very find and pretty soft, it did not scratch me and it definitely will not give my kids splinters. However if the way it looks really bothers you, it’s very easy to grab a little bit of sand paper and rub it off within a matter of minutes! Or less! It’s not much. I have a lot of kids and I fully expect the rest to wear off with the heavy use it’s going to get, so I definitely don’t see that as a dealbreaker! Hope this is helpful! I’m

There's something really nostalgic about wooden toys. Totally love this set. It's absolutely adorable!It comes with everything you need for a tiny chef - mixing tools, bowl, oven mitt, scale, cookie tray, treats and an icing bag.All of the toys were properly painted with no missed spots, gloops, or flaws. My only issue was that the icing bag was a little wonky, but overall it's a really small thing, and the kids still thought it was cute. It's still a very nice touch having the padded icing bag to make it feel like the real deal.The kids loved that the cookies could be recessed into the dough and then 'cut out' of the dough to make their cookies. It gives it a very 'real' feel.These toys are quite durable. The kids smashed them around while stirring, mixing, and creating, and they have held up fantastically. I'd say the quality is near the Melissa and Dough wooden play sets.Yes, you are paying a little more than plastic sets, but these will far outlast any cheaper sets, and they look great! In this case you do get what you pay for.Overall worth the extra bit of money you're spending to get a really cute, quality set.
