H&B’s cross-back apron wildly exceeded my expectations for comfort and durability; this is would be suitable for home or work (although it looks to good for work!). Highly recommended.

I ordered my Apron from Hedley & Bennett and received it in one day. Excited by the quick shipping and happy to see they’re built in Los Angeles!I explored apron options from Caldo, Williams-Sonoma, and a few other brands but landed on Hedley & Bennett and do not regret it. While the other aprons may be a bit cheaper, the quality and craftsmanship of the Hedley apron is unparalleled. Watching Top Chef and Food Network, most of the chefs I see on the shows are sporting Hedley & Bennett aprons and it feels good to be in the kitchen cooking with professional equipment.The color of the apron is true to the color listed online (see photos attached). The crossback straps are awesome for balancing the weight of the apron as I hold different items in the pockets. The texture of the apron feels resistant to stains and seems durable, which is awesome for cooking.Will definitely be purchasing some more aprons for family members and friends!

The package measured about 9” x 8” x 1½” and weighed in at about 15oz, which is near twice the weight of their poly/cotton version but still less than the weight of a competing apron I have (but that had leather accents). I would have preferred shrink-wrapped, rather than press a strip of tape to seal, to maintain product integrity.What’s insideInside is a thick and durable (100%) cotton canvas apron. At this price point, over triple $ digits, a dust bag with a double string closure would have been appreciated, as the competitor had given me. So, this was a negative.The apronThe apron was perfectly folded and pressed. There is a good amount of stiffness, otherwise it’s firm, but still pliable. Frequent use and washings may help. Hanging this will allow this to breath when not in use.HighlightsI was thinking a nice tag would have arrived with this, to explain the product and assist in making this something a person could gift, but nothing. I was also expecting Made in the USA, not Assembled in Mexico. I thought the premium price was because of the higher cost of labor in the USA, so this was a negative. I would say anyone 5’5” and taller would find this an easy fit, where others may find more adjusting, and compromise will still work. Love the colors, durability of the material and black accents. A winner for sure

I was excited to learn that Hedley & Bennett is now available on Amazon! I own a couple of the H&B essential aprons already, but I wanted to try their cross-back one. I absolutely love it! It’s so comfortable, and it's the same high quality I have come to expect from H&B. The material is durable, but my favorite features have to be the pockets and towel loop. The pockets are great for storing things like a thermapen and the towel loop is extremely sturdy. It even accommodates my larger-than-average dish towels! This is not my first H&B purchase, and it definitely won’t be my last. Their aprons also make great gifts!

I have been loving my denim crossback aprons from H&B! Not having the strap of a typical apron rub all across my neck along with the durability of the apron is extraordinary! I needed an apron that could keep up to me flying around the kitchen trying to cook for my whole family while remaining stylish and this one does the trick! The only thing that I wish I did differently was order one from the start! Definitely worth the investment!

I was initially skeptical about the price, but decided to give it a shot and it’s 100% worth it! I love the sturdy denim fabric for when I’m grilling, and the criss cross straps make it so comfortable to wear. I also get compliments on it every time I wear it. Highly recommend!

Was a Christmas gift. Placed order on Black Friday and arrived after Christmas. Was very late, was offered cancellation. But purchased because ample 72” long straps along with 30” apron. Nice apron, not cheap, giftee was happy until he tried it on. Will be adding on to strap but would have been nice if straps came longer.
