The hat is warm enough for decently cold nights without being unbearably hot, and can fit most head sizes with the adjustable elastic band. I will warn anyone planning on buying this that the little tassle at the end of the pom-pom is somewhat delicate and can be pulled apart if you aren't careful. The tassle being pulled apart doesn't really destroy the hat, but it's not fun to Lose it.

I bought this as a comical but useful Christmas gift for my husband who is bald. He will usually wear a hooded sweatshirt to bed in the winter to keep his head warm. We live in Iowa. So far he’s been wearing it. He says it’s warm. It has a thin elastic so it’s not binding. He has a rather large head and it fits. Not too tight. The material is rather thin though. I wasn’t out a lot of money if he didn’t wear it.

Adjustable fit, soft, comfortable, fabric., fun colours. Only issue was pompom came off both before even sleeping with it which doesn't hamper its purpose in the least.
