A good storage option which can be added to over time.
I was in need of further record storage and with no room for more shelving I decided to look for a couple more record cubes to take the overflow. These are self assembly, take a few minutes to put together and are sufficiently sturdy to last. They appear to be constructed of MDF or possibly high density chipboard finished with a textured plastic based coating which looks smart and appears as if it will be durable. Basically they do as expected and can be stacked if needed. All good.

Cheap, easy to put together
This is a functional piece of furniture, no more than that, but it is great at what it does. The large size easily holds well over 100 records. I care about my records and I've comfortably got about 120, a number of which are double albums, in my unit. They're all in protective plastic sleeves, and I haven't had to squeeze them in too tightly. As with any piece of flat pack furniture, it's not the greatest quality and certainly won't win any design awards. Additionally, the middle shelf is held in place only with four small wooden dowels and one screw (at the back), which worries me slightly, but you get what you pay for and I'd rather buy more vinyl than spend too much on storage!Assembly is really straightforward, it took me about 15-20 minutes (less than the playing time of one side of the LP I was listening to [Hergest Ridge if you're interested!]) and I only needed one screwdriver. The instructions are as clear as flat pack instructions ever are and because this is really just six bits of MDF with no fiddly doors to align, they're simple to follow. Once it's assembled it feels pretty sturdy thanks to the fact that the back is a decent thickness piece of MDF, unlike the wobbly board that you often find in flat pack cupboards.Overall, then, a decent purchase at the current price (£33.99 plus postage).

Easy to build good value Record Storage Unit.
This isn't an expensive or grand piece of furniture but was ideal for my needs and I and very pleased with it. It was easy to put together with adequate instructions, took maybe 20 minutes. It looks ok when assembled and seams to be very sturdy. Fitted in to the space on my desk with space on top for the amplifier and record player. I think it has capacity for about 70 LPS in each side which is fine for me. So all in all for the money a good buy.

Great value for money
Very happy with the seller, bought it on Saturday night for a next Thursday delivery and arrived on Monday! Perfect, thank you!The product itself is very easy to assemble, all you need is a medium sized screwdriver. Quality-wise is similar to the basic furniture that you get from Ikea, but this one seems to be quite sturdy. Not suitable to hang on the wall if that is what you are planning to do, but should hold well lying sideways on the floor. I bought it to compliment a couple of cabinets of the far more expensive Glorious range and it looks fine side by side; however I must say that the quality is not comparable, the Glorious furniture is far superior, but a third of the price I would certainly not fault this Hartleys cabinet, it is great value for money. I totally recommend it.

Good product
I’ve recently been recommissioning my LP collection having had them in a cupboard in another room for years. I was looking for storage that wouldn’t break the bank. I wanted something in black which would complment my hifi rack and these fitted the bill. They come as flat pack but are quite easy to put together, my first one took a little longer but by the third it was built in 15 minutes. They are sturdy, the parts all fit properly though care is needed screwing in the chrome pins as they can slip. I’m well pleased with the finished products my records now have a new home next to my turntable.

Not impressed
Apart from the fact that it is poorly designed, almost impossible to build, it falls to pieces under load. Expensive planks of 2nd grade fibreboard.
