For the price, I am very happy with the results. I bought this mainly to clean my glasses. They came out looking brand new.

The media could not be loaded. I had never used an ultrasonic cleaner before, so i didn't really know what to expect. Initially I was hoping to use it to clean coins. What I found out was that if a coin had relatively loose dirt on it, it would clean up OK but the tarnish that would be down in the low spots and between letters did not seem to come off. As I was later reading the instructions it stated. “discoloration and rust of metals and precious metals cannot be removed.” I was a little disappointed, but soon found that there were quite a few other uses. My wife used it to clean a ring that was kind of grimy and it did a good job on that. I tried using it to clean a toothbrush that had been retired from brushing teeth and was currently used for cleaning dirt out of cracks in stuff. I have included a video of this. It was quite impressive as you could see the dirt sloughing off of the toothbrush. I included an after picture and I would say the toothbrush could probably be used again for brushing teeth! (However, I don't actually think that I will....) At one point I dipped my finger into the water while it was running. I was surprised to feel a tingling in my finger and to see some dirt sluffing off even though I didn't think my finger was that dirty! I probably should note that even though it says you can add detergent for a better effect, I have only used it with plain water so far. I think it is definitely worth having around and will be experimenting with cleaning more things in the future.To help understand how I rate items:Five stars - The product exceeded my expectations. I really love it and would actively suggest it to friends and would certainly purchase it again if needed.Four stars - The product met my expectations. It does what it claims to do. I like it and would recommend it to someone if they asked about it. I would most likely purchase it again if needed .Three stars - The product is average and for the most part does what it claims. There may be a few things I don't like about it. If I recommended it to someone, I would state my reservations. I may purchase it again if I could not find a better alternative.Two stars - The product fell far short of my expectations. It may, in some respects, do what it claims to do but has far too many problems to overlook. I would never recommended it to someone nor would I ever purchase it again. There is a good possibility I would return it.One star - The product is terrible. It has way too many cons and few if any pros. I would actively warn my friends away from it and would most likely return it if possible.

Was very excited to get this. So disappointed - it won’t even turn on. The adapter doesn’t even provide power to the unit. No wonder this one was so much less expensive than others .

It does help remove some tarnish from most pieces but cant restore original shine. It takes many runs of 8 minutes to do so however. Did not work on a few pieces but those may not be silver.

My glasses were never this clean before. Love it!

I decided to test this using some change (coins) that I had sitting around the house.. I found that it did clean a lot of stuff off of them.. But it took multiple rounds before the water did not get dirty any more..I started by filling it with hot water.. I then put some change in it (making sure that the change was spread apart and not in a pile), and then set it to its max time setting, which is 480 seconds, or 8 minutes.. After it stopped, the water was very dirty.. I dumped the water out, refilled it with hot water, and ran it again.. The water was still quite dirty.. I then repeated everything with fresh water again.. By the 4th round, the water was not getting very dirty any more..Just to note, I did not try anything like rings, glasses, etc that they specified, so no comment about them..Does it work.. Yes.. But some things may need multiple runs.. Since there is no way to set it to continuous, (with the max you can do per round is 8 minutes), this is a slight limitation.. But then again, if the stuff is that dirty, you would want to change the water out after 8 minutes anyways, because it will be that dirty.. I did find that it really only got the lighter stuff off of things.. Things that were too hard, it did not touch..

I ordered this cleaner for two reasons - I love the way my jewelry looks after I take it to the jeweler for cleaning, and I wanted to "deep clean" my favorite glasses.This ultrasonic cleaner exceeds my expectations. It is well-made and relatively quiet. The instructions are clear and thorough. It is very easy to use - simply add plain water and turn it on. The cleaner only requires water - no special solution. You can customize the time you want the cleaner to run. It comes with its own power source / cord, so you don't have to find yet another adapter. It is lightweight and small so it easily fits on a countertop and doesn't get in the way. It also comes with a little basket to put your jewelry in when you clean it.My video demonstrates the first time cleaning a 4-year-old pair of glasses - you can see all the gunk coming out from in between the frame and lenses! So gross, but yet, so cool! After a 3-minute cycle, they looked almost brand new and SO much cleaner.At this price point, this ultrasonic cleaner is an absolute bargain!
