Arrived quickly and in own starter liquid, well packaged. Excellent scoby I had kombucha fermenting away where I could see bubble within 48 hours. I tasted some and its a great drink. My house has no heating on yet and is constantly below 10c yet the scoby worked great. I have now purchased a 5 litre glass kilned jar where I have moved the scoby and liquid to this where I've added more organic tea liquid and organic brown sugar. I love this drink so much and feel grateful to the living yeasts and bacteria for their health benefits for me that I have decided to ferment Kombucha continually and will purchase a container with a tap on it. I remember being given a scoby some 22 years ago and made kombucha but I wasn't so into nutrition then as I am now. I would recommend seller and product.Update: 6/7/19 Amazing and still going with the original. The scooby is now about an inch thick and solid looking. I haven't fed it sugar for about 8 months until this morning. I had drunk half the brew over 6 months ago and left the scooby in the rest of the brew.Having read and looked at many pictures about mould, yeast on Scobys, mine looked superb, so I've drunk more today and although it made me wink a bit, it still had something good about it. So you really do get a great healthy Scoby from this seller.In fact I've just received another one, as I plan to have many jars of brew of different tea flavours on the go, where I can also start to divide the original. Although I have to say I feel like the first Scoby has become a reliable friend.

So yummy! Beats lemonade and is a healthy probiotic drink. Easy to make. Instructions could be simplified if less narrative, but are clear enough. Scoby came in square shape which is good, so I cannot confuse it with the "next genetation" ones that develop round automatically. Scoby has been used 5 times so far and makes a good combucha.

Great quality of Kombucha scooby. Well packed with useful instruction. The 'baby scooby' has started to appear within 4 days. First batch of Kombucha tastes amazingly with fruits and fruity tea. We both with my fiancé enjoy it very much so.2 in 1 - 'tasty pleasure' :)Highly recommend it!!!

I was really looking forward to receiving this scoby. I had been brewing kombucha for many years but having recently moved countries, I had to leave my beautiful scobies behind. The item description states it's a large scoby. What I got cannot in any way, shape, or form be described as large!!! It was no more than 10cm x 10cm in size. The started liquid provided was all but a few tablespoons so how this can be enough to brew a 2L batch is beyond my comprehension!!! If I knew this is what I was going to get, I wouldn't have bothered buying it. I would have instead gone down the route of making my own scoby.

The item was well packaged and arrived safely. Don't know what the flavour is like as it hasn't finished fermenting.

The SCOBY arrived a few days ahead of schedule but fortunately I was already prepared with a 5Ldrinks dispenser jar as I intend to run a continual brewing process (marked jar at 200ml and 500ml so I know how much kombucha to leave to back-slop the next 2 or 5 L batch)Following the instructions that came with it I set it to task on a 2L sugar /tea infusionNow on day 5 of the brewing process and the SCOBY is expanding to the diameter of the jar.pH is falling but still a little way to go and it may take a while as I don’t think it is in a warm enough place (18 to 20⁰C). Plus, I also forgot to check the start pH so the infusion may not have been quite as acidic as it should have been.So, something seems to be happening and it all looks healthy enough, just running a tad slower than anticipated. Very pleased with product and looking forward to further experimentation

My scoby arrived quickly and had grown to shape of the bag it came in during its travels so I have a square scoby. I have had it in some sweet tea for 48 hours now and have been seeing tiny bubble since the first 12 hours. A very thin scoby seems to be forming on the top.This is my first time brewing kombucha but having read lots about the process before it seems so be a very healthy scoby 😀

Dopo aver conosciuto e letto le innumerevoli qualità del kombucha ho deciso di acquistarlo, sia perché è difficile da trovare già fatto, sia perché quando si trova ha dei prezzi esagerati. Ho già ammortizzato il costo di prodotto e spedizione in due mesi! Le istruzioni sono facili e il risultato ottimo, molto meglio tra L altro di quello industriale!

Los dos Scobies llegaron intactos, dentro de dos bolsitas. Mas bien parecen trozos y no un disco como yo me esperaba, asi que tendre que esperar formar mi disco con el tiempo. Tengo la experiencia de hacer mi propia Kombucha en los ultimos 5 años y estos scobies tienen buena pinta. Mi decepcion tb fue su tamaño pues yo no considero este un XL, mas bien un Medium. La cantidad del liquido del starter no era suficiente, normalmente ( para 4 l) se necesita cerca de 200-250 ml, asi que tuve que comprar mas Kombucha original ( sin sabores o fruta de la segunda fermentacion) para añadir. El envio normal fueron 14 dias ( incluidos 2 fines de semana).
