I'm happy
I was looking for magnetic hooks to hold my quilting rulers to a metal locker in my studio. If attached to the underside of the shelf, these magnets can hold a 24" Quilters Slidelock, which is pretty heavy. If attached to a vertical surface, they cannot hold a 6" x 24" standard cutting ruler, but they hold anything smaller just fine. The hooks are small enough and angled correctly for rulers. (I had previously tried ones from Harbor Freight, which have stronger magnets but curved hooks, and Command hooks, which are not as easily repositioned.)Suggestion for attaching the hook to the base: Stick the base to something heavy, such as a cast-iron pan. Use two small pliers to pull the hook ends apart temporarily (they'll snap back) and slip them into the holes.

Decent product
Magnets are not as strong as I'd hoped, but they work well enough. Good value for the product.

good product
Small but Strong Magnet. but on vertical plane like a fridge it won't support even 2 lbs. as it does say in description. Still I like them

Hooks do not stay secured to the magnets, keep falling off UPDATE: Superior Customer Service
I am updating my review to include a very. positive exchange from the seller. The sellar reached out unsolicited and inquired what could be done to rectify the situation: a replacement or a full refund. I appreciated the initiative the seller took and am adjusting the rating to include this experience.1) Magnets are very small, much smaller than anticipated. I should have read the specifications prior to ordering.2) The hooks are secured on a knob in the center of the front of the magnet, however there is no magnetic pull from the frontside, only the backside. Therefore the hooks just come right off with the slightest pull. I couldn't even hang an oven mitt on them as every time I took the mitt off, the hook went flying.3) This was supposed to be a 6-pack, however only 5 were included in my order. If they actually worked as anticipated, I probably would have keep the 5, and left it at that.4) I did return them as they were essentially useless.

Assembly required
I did not appreciate having to put the hooks into the magnets. Use a larger box and assemble before shipping please!

Good and strong!
Bought these to hang up my white board on my desk cabinet at work, but only needed two for that. Found out that they make good key hangers as well! You do have to put them together, but it's super simple to do and they are plenty strong and even strong enough to hold up three of my wife's purses (not horizontally though, it will slide on smooth surfaces with too much weight).

Good for price
Pretty strong for their size. They come in two pieces so you do have to assemble the hooks and the magnets together yourself - hard if your eyesight isn't great or you have arthritis in your hands. I stuck the magnet part onto my metal filing cabinet and then used two sets of needle-nose pliers to gently pull the hook apart and slip the arms into the magnet's holes. The arms do spring back together quite well. They hold my keys and fridge calendar perfectly. Not convinced they'd hold 10lbs and there are very few places in a house, if any, where you'd have a magnetic "ceiling" to test that. Nowadays advertisers seem to be able to claim anything with impunity. Buyer beware. I'd pay more if I wanted a really strong magnet or use several in a row to get a strong hold-up capability.
