The initial impression when we received the package was really bad. The delivery person left it out in the open and due to rain it got wet. After getting it in and unpackaging it, we did not find the manual for assembling nor were the screws there. We wrote to the seller stating that the screws and manual were missing but when we got the response, we were surprised that they did not even pay attention to the comments given though the response was polite. After that we had a couple of interactions and the seller was very responsive and acted promptly. They sent the soft copy of the manual immediately and followed up with the screws in another 5 days. Though it started off bad, as the seller was responsive and quick to act, our impression has changed.The assembling took a couple of hours but it was easy to follow as the manual was clear. The screw set was just sufficient. If there was any problem with 1 or 2 of the screws we would have been in shortage of the screws again. It would be good to provide some spare screws. After the assembling, the bed looks good and sturdy. We liked the storage features - 4 storage drawers below and near the headboard. The charging ports in the headboard were a good idea. To hold the drawers in place, they have provided a small pin on the drawers and a hole on the bedframe, which helps to hold the drawer in place and look neat.Overall the bedframe is sturdy, nice to see with the rusty look, good storage space all around the bed frame and the charging ports to charge phones and laptops while you are still sitting or sleeping on the bed.

Heard the driver from UPS fighting up two flights of steps (it is over 100 lbs!). Fortunately, well packaged. Everything looks well labeled, but be careful. Example: parts 8, 11 & 12 are different but similar and are zip-tied together, but the labels for parts 8 & 11 were not showing; I was on the verge of trying to call some kind of customer support until I triple checked (10 minutes of unnecessary panic). The headboard alone takes about an hour to assemble, and it's the first time in the bare-bones instructions that you REALLY have to pay attention - there are holes all over the place and they all have to line up in one way and one way only. TAKE YOUR TIME, or you will wind up having to undo/redo some of your work. There were also some quality control issues here: both holes in headboard part 1 for connecting headboard parts 5 to headboard part 1 were not deep enough (1/8 inch, should have been 1+ inch, took a few minutes to determine this). Had to drill my own holes (1/8 drill bit). The pilot holes for attaching the power outlet didn't seem right, either (1/16 drill bit). But otherwise, assembly was straight forward, total time with a few bumps in the road for a retired school-trained engineer who's somewhat handy with tools: five hours.Which just means I slept well on this new bed that night ...

Even tho the directions are crappy we managed to figure it out. lol. It is very cute and solid. I love my new bed!!

The bed frame is really good pretty strudy and was easy enough to assembale considering its a bedframe only problem with assembly was the charging station screw holes not properly cleared so your gonna have to really drill in the screw so it becomes flate. also the bedframe is darker than show in the picture which is fine as i was planning to repaint the bed frame as the color shown in the picture looks hidious but its actual color is really nice so i kept it as is.

The media could not be loaded.  I hate to be a negative or a Debbie Downer but this bed frame with bookcase headboard is nowhere near easy to assemble. We spent all together over a two-day period 7 hours trying to put this together. The instructions aren't very good but for the most part you can figure some things out but then on the other hand the ones that make absolutely no sense Not only creates a frustration level it drives you crazy. At least it drove us crazy. Another thing that they don't tell you is this is not the standard size queen because it is way longer and there is a gap underneath the headboard but your bed doesn't go under there. It's not a small gap either. Putting the drawers together was beyond frustrating. They do not fit very well under the bed. In other words the wooden piece that's on the front does not close all the way to the frame as it should. Put in these wire drawers together was no easy task. The bed sits very low to the ground. In fact I could be laying down and hang my leg over and my foot is touching the floor. You definitely will need more than one person to assemble this bed frame as there is no way you could do it by yourself. Some of the holes didn't line up some of the holes were not drilled all the way through so as you know with that scenario you have to make your own or try to fix whatever the issue is to the best of your ability. We had to do that a lot! There are several pieces that we couldn't put all of the screws in and are hoping that what did fit will hold it together. Everything comes with an Allen wrench because the screws are hexagon. It also gives you a wrench. But immediately toss that out the door because it is worthless. They would have saved so much time and money if they made these a Phillips or a flathead. Then you could have used a drill. I do have bits that are hexagon but I didn't have the right size as it is not a normal size. So not only did they make it harder that way and caused even more frustration. It does come with a little screwdriver for the four pieces that you do need a screwdriver for. As I stated the wrench is absolutely useless It does not fit on the bolts enough to hold it so you can actually put the hex group in. I had to get pair of pliers to help assemble this and I also had to get a socket so I could get a grip on it so I can screw the hex screw in. What's the headboard is set up It is very nice to look at. I'm not dogging it in the least bit on the looks. I'm dogging it for the quality control of the entire bed frame and headboard. For once all of the hardware was with the kit. I had so many issues and challenges with this bed frame and headboard that I can't even remember them all. But I do know that it is not really wood I think it is pressboard with wood grain contact paper over the pressed board. So don't be going in and thinking that this is real wood because it is not. It is very heavy especially in the box as it ships so we had to take it apart and bring in pieces one by one because it's way heavy. Now I have to go with when I recommend this bed frame with headboard... I'm really not sure. The completed project for the most part is good but if I had a known the trouble it was to put together I probably would have not have ordered it.
