What I like about this belt is that it isn't a money belt, so you can distribute your items more evenly around your waist, and you don't have the obvious bulk of a money belt sticking out. It's also elasticated so when you sit down it expands as you guts spill out. And the pockets are easily accessible but it's also secure enough that you'll notice when someone else tries to stick their fingers in. It's a bit warm in hotter climes, but a money belt wouldn't be any better.Update a month later: I've carried this under my top during a 3 week visit to Malaysia. It was so subtle people thought I was putting my money and phone in my waistband rather than in a belt. I didn't carry a full wallet, but there is a money/change pocket and access to an internal pocket that runs all the way around your waist via several holes. There's also a loop for hooking keys on. I used this to find the access point and stuffed my S9+ (so not a small phone) into the pocket via that hole. I kept my passport around the back of the belt along with any hotel keycards. I cannot espouse enough how much of an excellent money belt this is. As long as you don't wear skintight t-shirts, no one will ever know you're wearing this under your top. As an added extra it also acts as a mini corset to hold in the expanding waistline - I ate a lot of delicious food in Malaysia!

If you are an active person in any way shape or form, this item is for you. Even if you are sedate, it works for you too. At first glance I wondered if it would match up to what it promised, and am glad to say it does – and more!A lot of thought must have gone into the design of this hipster which is made of soft lycra, well made and feels decidedly luxurious to the touch. It stretches quite nicely too, giving me a nice snug fit around my waist, which is where I tend to wear it more often than not. Its looks great around my hips too.Oh it is so comfortable to wear, so much so that several times, I’ve had it on all day, and nearly always forget it is there. I love bright colours so went for the aqua, and it sure makes a statement.I find it very versatile, with its four access openings of about 8cm/3in, two in front and two at the back, which stretch to accommodate the things I want to carry with me, even my Samsung S4 phone. The openings are in the right place to make it easy to access any of the items that I put in it, be they snacks, money, handkerchief, pens, cards, keys or camera-yes, my Panasonic Lumix SZ9 finds a home there too, as well as little flip notebook.Whether I am walking, running, cycling, out and about or just at home (I work from home), this hip hug makes a great clothing companion. I will be travelling soon, and this hipster will be going with me on the plane journey so I can keep my travel documents and other essentials on me all the time.This waist belt is fantastic. I bought this for my trip to Kenya to use as a money/passport/phone belt type thing. It certainly did the job and was far less bulky than the ones some of my fellow travellers had. The only trouble I had was that I got very warm and sweaty wearing it, but this may have been alleviated if I'd bought the next size up. I had opted for medium (I am size 8/10) and the actual fit was spot on. I have worn it since when running and it's perfect in the British climate! Anything you put in here stays put! So much better than a bum bag flapping around!

I really love this belt because I hate carrying things whilst running. It enables me to carry a small bottle of water, my mobile and even jelly babies. And the hook for keys is great. However, I'm not sure if I bought the correct size. There was no guide on the website so I asked previous buyers. On receiving their replies I ordered XL. However, after wearing for a while I have difficulty in finding the slits as the garment moves and hides the slits/pockets. Does this suggest that I have purchased a size too big?

The hip higher is a great item. It feels well-made and is very comfortable to wear while running. I slip my phone into the long pocket, keys in the small one and off I go! I do like to wear the hip hugger on my hips, but it does ride up a little. That is the only reason for the four stars.

Absolutely the Best! This is the answer!Had years of struggling with horrid uncomfortable bum bags and belts etc., armbands also very uncomfortable. I have an iPhone 7plus and it fits in fine and feels very secure. Also wonderful for keeping small change or notes or credit cards and a key and doesn't conflict as 2 or 3 little Slits. My only suggestion would be to stitch around the little inserts to make proper pockets so things don't end up slipping around at bottom but this is still a huge improvement on anything out there. Would definitely recommend highly!

This is a brilliant product! I have searched for years for a decent belt for running that would hold my phone, keys, money, gels etc. Until now all belts have chaffed and bounced around and been a nightmare on long runs. This stays put and is so comfortable that you forget you have it on.The director of the company personally emailed to see what I thought of the belt and was open to suggestions for improvements in future belts such as a clip for your keys as well as making sure I had the correct size belt.I can't praise both the belt and the customer service enough.

Another male finding this useful - running with the dog it holds all the treats, poop bags, keys etc which don't fit well in typical running shorts.Updated review: Originally I bought the CLASSIC version and liked it enough to buy the PRO version as well. Be aware that the PRO is the more stretchy of the two - I first made the mistake of getting the larger size and that didn't work - it needs to be stretched a bit to fit properly. The PRO also has a significantly larger vertical pocket that I find useful.
