Great Product
We are so happy with this bedding for our hamster. It is light and fluffy and keeps the odors away much longer than the wood shaving or cardboard/paper material. We will definitely buy this again.

Bugs. Hurt my gerbils
A few days after adding this bedding to my gerbil habitat I noticed that small mites or beetles were crawling all over my poor boys. All the other types of substrate I had in there had been purchased and used multiple times with no issues, this was the only variable.I am convinced that this is the source of the insects and they were crawling all over my wee friends to the point that they had bloody scratches all over their tails and bodies from irritation. Have you ever tried giving a gerbil a bath in a margarita pitcher filled with Dawn and water? I have.I definitely don't recommend this product.

Very absorbent, soft and nice. Kind of hard to break up at first but i think she loved it (the hamster)
