I use these all the time. No breaks or cracks, takes heat well from the toaster oven, I love how they look, stack well, and haven't even scratched in the year or so I've been using them nearly daily. They fit about two decent servings of food, so I think "serving bowl" is a little excessive. But they're good for anything a bowl is and more. Also work well for salads due to the longer bottom. I eat most of my meals out of these. It's perfect for curry or stirfry and a side of rice.

I got the cream-colored cereal bowls. They are a nice size for cereal, soup, ramen, fruit salad. They're a little deeper than I expected and hold a little more than many cereal bowls. Also, I like the look--they have style but it's understated. Not formal, not wacky. Just kinda cool.

These are simply stunning serving bowls - very sturdy and shaped like half a football.Utterly gorgeous and it’s the right size for cooking in the microwave, putting in the refrigerator, and beautiful for serving.

Purging dishes for the New Year and finally convinced my husband to get rid of his green set that we've had for 12 years. We use my white set for everything EXCEPT we use his green bowls because they are LARGE and great for pasta, soup, Chinese food, etc. I said it was silly for us to have 2 sets of dishes taking up cabinet space for a set of bowls and said if I buy a set of white bowls could I donate his green set? He agreed and hence the order of this set. It's perfect. At first he grumbled, "they aren't round" but after his first Chinese takeout meal in it filled with rice, chicken, and room for his egg roll his grumbling subsided. It really is a great, stylish bowl and also can be uses for dips, etc. for parties. Buy the bowl!

The media could not be loaded. I was searching for larger ceramic bowls that are angled to feed my two adult Maine Coon cats. The cats are as big as a medium sized dog and have wide whiskers, so they need a larger sized bowl to accommodate their larger heads. Also my cats are having trouble with chin acne from their chin rubbing on their bowls and food residue on the face. I purchased the 36 ounce bowls. The size specifications are accurate 8”wide x 6”depth x 3” height. The space at the bottom is 4”x 5”. I love the taxi cab yellow color, and the gloss glaze. The bowls feel very sturdy and clean easily; either by hand or in the dishwasher. The bowls are big, about the size of a football! At first glance I thought the bowls looked too large for the cats. However, when I saw the cats eating out of the bowls, it fit perfectly! Plenty of whisker space.

These bowls are Exactly the size I wanted. Not too big, not too small. They will be perfect for family-style at the dinner table. They will also be perfect for my buffet table. The colors are so saturated I don't believe they will ever fade. I bought the multi-colored set because my table is mostly black and white. The red and yellow will add a great pop of color depending on the occassion. The bowls are a nice weight and won't tip over easily. They were packed extremely well for shipping. In fact, I'm keeping the inside packaging to store them when not in use. With only two of us, these will be used mostly for entertaining. The product is exactly as described.
