Skinner's Field & Trial Complete Dry Junior Working Dog Food Duck and Rice, 15 kg

Charlie our cockerpoo has always been fussy with food. We have tried so many different ones and often for a while he will be happy with something, but then for no apparent reason he goes off it. So when this arrived we tried it and while at first he was a bit reluctant (he seems to have gone off dry food), after a couple of days he gradually began to try it. Now after several days he seems happy to tuck into it more easily and the fact that this food is full of all the right stuff, means that we are happy too.Like many dog owners (and lovers) we ant the best for our canine friend(s) and will try hard to make sure they get the best. In reality though, dogs will either eat something or not, depending on whether they like it or not. They don't look at the goodness, just the taste and if your dog likes this, then you know that he/she is getting something that is doing them a lot of good.The food comes in a huge 15kg pack that will last us several weeks. The bag is re-sealable and always keeps the food fresh. I only hope Charlie continues to enjoy this one, if so we can look forward to a long and happy life/

We have a 9 month working x show cocker spaniel and she came to us on a diet of Skinners puppy food which we kept her on as she seemed to be doing well. We've recently transitioned her to the junior food and we knew she was enjoying it as she'd eat the junior food first and leave the puppy food (we were feeding a mixture of both to slowly introduce the new food). Our pup seems happy with the food!

We used a small 2kg package to try this food, our pup had problems with his stomach after, diarrhea and when he was farting - I swear, I couldn’t be inside the same room with him.Our second dog got this food as a treats ( just few per day) and had no any changes in his poo.So, maybe our pup has a sensitive stomach and it’s just not his type of food.But for the paid price general quality was not bad at all

I received my order and when I checked the food only had about 6 weeks shelf life left on it. I had ordered it well before I was going to use it and this sack would last my dog ages. I contacted Amazon who said they would exchange it for another sack, the courier has just delivered it and it's only got a couple more weeks on it than the other sack!! This is a product which should have a long date on it or else be offered at a reduced price making it clear it's short dated and then the customer can decide if they're happy with that. My dog is only six months, I don't want to be giving him food which is past it's best. I'm not happy but I really can't be bothered to go through the process again.

We’re now on our 4th bag of this for our 10 month old English Pointer.We struggled at first keeping weight on him - they are a very tall, lean breed in general but as a puppy he was very skinny until we found this.Our dog loves this, it keeps the weight on and is a very good price for our needs.We go through roughly one 15kg bag a month as we add other things to his meals too.

I love it. Tastes much nicer than the chicken (which makes me itch btw!!). Smaller so much easier to digest and great for my shiny coatHighly recommended by buddy

After trying a number of brands of kibble for our 7 month old labrador, we have finally found a food that suits her digestion. No more loose stools! So relieved. She is finally properly digesting her food which makes life so much easier on our dog walks! Her coat too is so soft. Happy dog...and owner!

I cant comment on flavor not being a Dog but on the whole I found it no better than the standard Junior and at nearly £10 a bag more expensive I wont be purchasing again.
