Great Lava Lamp!
My son (10 years old) loves his lava lamp! The color is just like the image. It was easy to put together and it is the perfect addition to his room!

Just like back in the 70's
Gennerally like product. Mostly as advertised. Does require a few break-in cycles for optimum performance. Sides could be +- 3/4" higher or similar measure to shield some of the bright light source as the white wax greatly transmits light until in suspension.

This was a gift for my son and it works well. He loved it.

Nice but dangerous
It’s a nice lamp for the price but my biggest problem is this thing gets untouchable hot and I mean to the point it could start a fire. Had it in my son’s bathroom as sort of a night light and it makes the bathroom a good 10 degrees hotter when going in. Plug also gets extremely warm so we don’t leave it on for a long time.
