Birchmeier Nematode Applicator AquaNemix 1.25, Red-and-white, Plastic, Modern, 2% Dosage

The media could not be loaded.  Been looking for a dependable nematode applicator as I’m not convinced with the miracle gro feeder. Really impressed after my first application. I prepared my stock solution as per manufacturer’ssinstruction. Dissolved entire pack of 100sqm in 10 l watering can and stirred well as I was concerned about the applicator getting stuck. Poured 1 litre into the applicator and sprayed an area of 10sqm. The applicator worked very well as it has weighted internal tube which stays down and the swinging motion allows you to keep shaking the applicator as you spray. I had to clear the tube probably nearing the end of 10l stock but no big deal. If you’re worried about it getting stuck, just dilute it more. Much happier with this! Hope it will serve me a few good years.

The sprayer instructions aren’t that clear to follow, but we managed. The first batch went well, we were using Nemaslug nematodes mixed into water in the canister linked to the hose for the recommended dilution rate. When we tried the second batch it had clogged up, so just hose water was going through the nozzle. We followed the instructions to unblock, using a coin and flushed it through. We had to do this numerous times over the course of the treatment, covering 100 sq m. I don’t know whether we hadn’t mixed the solution enough, we kept churning it to try and stop the blockages.

Arrived earlier than expected, does exactly as advertised.

Birchmeier AquaNemix 1.25 V Nematode Applicator - this is the correct title of the sprayer and the company name is one word. If you are looking for the sprayer/applicator that you can use to apply Nematodes then this is the one you are looking for! When searching for the Nematode sprayer, the fertiliser one comes up on Amazon because the title of this one is spelt incorrectly, this meant that I ended up with ordering the fertiliser version by mistake. Having found further information from the Birchmeier website, it states that you should not use the fertiliser applicator for Nematodes, but you can use the Nematode Applicator to apply liquid fertiliser. Overall, I'm happy with the sprayer and it seems to do the job, although it is quite unnerving because you can't quite work out once the solution has completely emptied out. When I tested the water pressure before putting in the solution the level of the water went down, but this didn't happen when I put the solution in, so I wasn't completely sure that the Nematodes were coming out - so I just made sure that I emptied the rest of the water out over the garden so that hopefully they all got out somewhere! I also realised that I made an error with the Nematode 'teabag' as I think that you are supposed to leave the Nematodes in the teabag and let the release into the solution and then put them in the applicator, this means that the sludgy stuff that they are stored in for transport is filtered off for the applicator; prior to the teabag, I believe that they were just in a packet that you did empty directly into the water. I can highly recommend the Green Gardener as a supplier, they were very efficient both supplying the Nematodes and the applicator.

I used a paint mixer on a drill to mix up the nematodes and then did 900 sq metres with no issue. I then had a blockage and really struggled for 20 minutes with one blockage after another. So as a last resort I looked at the instructions and followed those and the last 100 Sq metres were fine :) ( I am just a mere man.)Do sector your lawn up into blocks, as recommended tried to do it to cover about three times. found it easy enough with a few canes and stepping it out.now just hope the nematodes do their job as the lawns were riddled with chafer grubs

The instruction are not clear on how you mix the nematodes.It is difficult to see when the mix has been exhausted.Very expensive for what it is.

Started using this having mixed the solution well. Worked fine for first round and half of the second.After that, it was clearly not picking up from the bowl and I was simply spraying pure water. Dismantled and cleaned the spray - no real sign of blockage so very little difference.Absolute waste of time as the whole point of this dispenser it to distribute the payload evenly. That can only happen if it picks up properly from the bowl.I do not recommend this product at all.

This is the best sprayer I have ever used. Well designed, with features that make extended use easy ( I used it for 2 hrs non-stop)

non faccio il reso solo perchè, non essendo un prodotto Prime, la spedizione mi costerebbe 30€ quando il prodotto in sè è costato 45€.Non è possibile modificare la percentuale di liquido da mischiare al flusso di acqua. Nelle istruzioni, in tutte le lingue poco chiare, c'è una spece di procedura per calcolarlo, ma poco chiara.

Spart enorm Zeit Nematoden auszubringen. Letztes Jahr hatte ich den AquaNemix noch nicht weil er mir zu teuer war, das Ausbringen der Nematoden ein großer Aufwand. So hab habe ich mich dieses Jahr entschlossen das Gerät zu kaufen. Es ist jeden Cent wert. Ich habe auf unserem und Nachbars Rasen damit Nematoden in kurzer Zeit ausgebracht, keine verstopfte Düse, sehr stabil trotz Plastik, alles ging super bei jeweils ca. 200 qm Rasen Fläche. Der Versand war auch super schnell. Vielen Dank für ein top Produkt!

Ein absolutes Must-Have, wenn man vorhat, öfter oder in größerer Menge Nematoden auszubringen. Bei der ersten Anwendung ein Wenig Übungssache, aber sobald man den Dreh raus hat (geht recht schnell), funktioniert es super. Absolut wichtig ist es, dass die Flüssigkeit wirklich abgesiebt ist und keine Schwebestoffe enthält, da sonst die Ansaugdüse verstopft und man nur gießt statt Nematoden auszubringen -> Als Fausregel: wenn sich der Flüssigkeitsbehälter nicht leert, dann ist der Ansaugschlauch verstopft und man gießt nur.Zum Abseien hat sich für uns folgender Filter empfohlen: M.Z.A 2 Stück Bienenenzucht Honigfilter Sieb Kegel

Nach jahrelangen Aufbringen der Nematoden mit der Gießkanne hab ich mich entschlossen den Aquanemix zu kaufen! Und der Kauf hat sich wirklich ausgezahlt! Das Aufbringen der Nematoden ging sehr schnell ohne körperliche Anstrengung und es gab keinerlei Verstopfung der Düsen!Ich würde nach dieser Erfahrung den Aquanemix sofort wieder kaufen!

Funktioniert einwandfrei. Man soll unbedingt darauf achten, dass keine Klumpen an dem Sieb kleben. Bin sehr zufrieden. Stolzer Preiss, aber für mich i.O.
