The only large drawback (no pun intended) is the poor sizing. I wear large, and ordered small. It fits perfectly. It is exceptionally well designed to maximize cooling. I'd prefer to wear this shirt on the hottest of days over a tank top both because it provides good sun protection but is so thin to the point it's almost sheer that it both wicks sweat well while feeling like you're wearing nothing at all. indeed, it's so thin that the only reason I dock a star for "value for the money." Given it's almost $40, it feels super easy to damage, but the flip side of that is this is part of what makes it the best cooling shirt I've ever worn, so overall, 5 stars, and I liked it so much I bought two more! You really have to try it to believe how optimal it is for extreme heat, whether humid or dry!

One word: *massive* in size. EASILY two sizes larger than you would expect (as others have stated).And yes, I did actually check my measurements against their sizing chart, so I got the small. I'm 6' and 172LB and the _small_ is quite big on me. Could it be okay... sure... Will it shrink after washing/drying? Eh, maybe, but does that rule out my ability to return it if I choose to? (still on the fence here, if you can't tell). I feel like if I was 6'2" and 190LB it would probably fit rather well.The shirt is nice. It's lightweight. Almost feels like a silky feel. I'm looking for one of those shirts that's warm when it's cool out and cool when it's warm out. This seems like it could do it.The shirt has *tons* of pockets in the front. 5, I think. Which is kinda strange. And the air vent on the back--which I'm looking for a shirt to have this--actually looks kinda weird. It's almost like a cape or something. It's sown on the top and bottom and opened on the sides.I'm ultimately trying to replace an old favorite hiking shirt (crof & bar) that I can't find anymore. I wear that out everywhere, church, the store, etc. I was super optimistic about this one and I'm just not convinced. This shirt would probably be fine if you're wearing it on the golf course or fishing, sure. But out to church...how many shirt pockets do you need to go to church?And the color is crazy. I got the Capri color and it's more like some cross between neon blue and neon green. In some light it's quite greenish and in some light it's quite bluish. But in either case the color is blasting. Certainly not the muted blue of the capri.I'll go with 4 stars because I think it could be a great shirt provided the purchaser knows and is okay with the above information.

I bought these shirts (4) to wear to go fishing. The wife and I have a date night once a week and I wore one of my shirts. I received so many compliments on the shirt and people were asking where did I buy them. I told them Amazon.

Surprised that Nylon fabric so cool; I usually prefer cotton. 2 Velcro, 2 button and 1 zip pocket; big enough for a passport.

I am a big Columbia shirt guy. So when I looked at these I had my reservations. But figured I would give one a try. And I am so glad I did. They are light and extremely comfortable. The side zipper pocket is amazing. Since then I have ordered several other colors.I kayak a lot and in the Florida heat this is a life saver.

We got it for my father in law for Fathers Day! He loved it and said he had to get more! Great find and inexpensive.

Muy bonita me gustó bastante, viene un poco grande para mi gusto ( y eso que a mi me gusta la ropa holgada). Regularmente soy XL la pedí y me quedó algo grande, después pedí una talla G y me quedó muy bien.
