Best item you can get for price
the lightsaber itself was FANTASTIC for the price. it has lots of lightsaber ignitions too! The lightsaber is loud but it can be muted and it is sooooo BRIGHT. The only downside is you can see it on camera. but besides that 10/10

Smooth swing saber
I love the different colors and sound fonts. I should have read the description better because there is no clash sound on impact. Only makes a clash sound if you activate it manually with the button.

Another great lightsaber from this company
I own two of this company's lightsabers now, and I love them both. They are however, slightly different. I'll try and focus on the differences here so it can maybe help you pick one.The other blade I own is one of their "newer" more expensive models. It came in an identical box with the same materials and parts. That lightsaber is a bit heavier compared to this one. This lightsaber is lighter but I think that is by design since its design is sleeker. The weight difference is not great, both have a nice weight to them that you would expect with as real lightsaber. I do prefer the slightly heavier weight of the other lightsaber though.Using the two lightsabers is also different. My other lightsaber has more setting options. More sound choices, a third volume choice, and a few other options within settings for color. So if you're looking for the maximum flexibility in how you configure your lightsaber, this company's more expensive models will beat out this lightsaber. However, the thing I appreciated most beyond customization options is the response of the controls. Both lightsabers use a single button to navigate the settings menus. You hold down the button, wait for the light to blink a certain number of times corresponding to the setting you wish to change, and then let go. This lightsaber just seemed to respond much better to doing this. It was always instant, and always the proper setting I wanted to have changed. The more expensive lightsaber seemed to have a delay to it, and it often would change the setting before or after what I thought I selected. I very much prefer this lightsaber for its accuracy in controls.Motion controls on this lightsaber were also more responsive. A bit too responsive in my opinion. For example, flicking to turn on or off worked great! I had more issues getting that to work on the more expensive model. However, with this lightsaber, a thrust motion would also cause the lightsaber to turn off or on. I also had a weird thing where the sound font / profile (what sound effect for your lightsaber you are using) would change at the same time as the motion controls, preventing me from keeping it set to the one I wanted.I end up turning off motion control, and just using the button. It is easy to click to turn on. Click again to fake intercepting a blaster beam, and hold to turn back off. The collision setting is just as good as the more expensive lightsaber model. It is responsive and the beam flashes white and makes a sound when you hit something. Both lightsabers suffer from the same general usability issues I mentioned in my other lightsaber review. That includes having to hold the button for 10 seconds to turn off the lightsaber but it automatically changes your sound font / profile before it does that. So you will always lose your set settings if you force turn off the lightsaber. It has a timeout feature where after 10 minutes of no use it powers itself down, so you could always just wait to use that instead.Overall this is a great product at a very affordable price. If you're not willing or able to spend more money for their newer more expensive lightsabers, then this is a great alternative. In fact, I would likely prefer to have started with this cheaper model. The extra settings you end up missing out on are not going to hinder your user experience and enjoyment of this product. This is a quality lightsaber made by a reliable company.

Beautiful, Heavy, Real Metal Handle. Not So Great Electronics.
The Best Lightsaber I Ever Used, Wasn’t A Lightsaber. It Was Way Better! The white plastic tube on this Lightsaber, just doesn't look like a real Lightsaber beam to me. I will tell you what did...Many years ago at the International Club Camp Out in Pinecrest, CA some of us were around the campfire one night. It was pretty big and there was a lot of smoke for a while. I had a Maglite flashlight with me and so did this other guy. We both got the idea at the same time. We turned on our flashlights at an angle and made it look like two Lightsabers were activating. And then we dueled. I’m good at sound effects, so I did the sounds. Everyone cheered.I’m telling you, two strong Flashlight beams in some campfire smoke will out do this plastic light beam any time. I mean. This is better than a cheap toy, but not like that.Hard To Get It To Do What The Instructions Say It Will DoIt really is difficult to get this Lightsaber to do what they say it will do. I followed all the directions exactly and there were some things it just would not do. Or it would not do things the way they said it would. The Lightsaber ColorsThis thing does a LOT of colors that were never in a Star Wars movie. That just makes it hard to find the ones that are. It also goes through a lot of sound effects that do not sound like the movies. And that makes it hard to find the good sound effects.Arrived With No Charge – Never Turned Green When ChargedThat’s OK, but normally these rechargeable devices arrive charged. This one had to be charged. It charged for over an hour and never stopped glowing red off and on. Should turn green to let you know it’s done.Talks To YouWhen I plugged it in, it said, “CHARGING!” It was nice, but good and loud, and sounded great, so I thought the sound quality was going to be good from the sound effects, but I was wrong...The Sound QualityNot so great. It just sounds like a really small speaker, even though there was room for one. Or the sounds were recorded cheaply. I played a lightsaber duel video on my iPhone. That video on my tiny iPhone speaker sounded MUCH better than this thing!Item Box Almost Ruined With Way Too Much TapeI wish people did not assume they have to put half a roll of tape all over and around an item box, which is going to be inside another box when it is sent anyway.
