These hybrid plate bowls are exactly what I was looking floor. They feel fairly sturdy though I suspect they wouldn't be too hard to chip/crack a drop from any height. They hold a good amount of food and help messy kids keep the food on the plate. Would buy again.

Love with the higher edges. I live alone and eat most of my meals sitting on the couch, I feel safer using these in that the food is less likely to fall off my plate. They are heavy (sturdy) and dishwasher safe.

Original order arrived with one broken bowl -it was cracked down the center and it was in the middle of the pack so it must have been broken before and missed by quality control. Otherwise my replacement order came in good shape. These are bigger than you think! Very nice size for pasta. A little big for a side salad but great for a big salad with some grilled chicken or something. I originally got them for cat food bowls but they're a bit too big and don't fit on their bowl platforms. No biggie they're still plenty useful. They don't seem real sturdy though. I'm afraid they'll break easily but the price was good and you get what you pay for.

We bought these for our toddler to use instead of the small plates we already have. They work great to make a plate for him that looks like our meals, and help him learn that his food can touch other stuff and he can still eat it. The lip helps him get small stuff with his spoon like rice and pasta without pushing it off of the plate. We’ve had them for almost a year and they’re still good as new. One has a flaw in the glaze.

The bowls are lovely. No flaws. Nice y& heavy which I wanted.

I returned them because they were made in China.

i love these plates they're exactly what i wanted. they are also packed very well so it is very unlikely to show up broken

The unusual shape for the 'bowls' means they don't fit well anywhere in a 'standard', dishwasher. Also, they don't stack well in cupboard.
