Like this brand of Butterflies with lights, looks good and stays lit for a long time.

These solar butterfly lights are as described, but doesn't last more than a couple of seasons. The butterflies are a light weight fabric and thin plastic stems. Small solar panel powers the fairy lights. All in all lovely, but not durable.

We love this very beautiful butterfly tree solar light. So simple to set up: Assemble the tree and ground spike – put the ON/OFF switch to ON – let it charge for 6 hours or so in the sun. You can spread the "branches" to your desired pattern and they will stay put. The butterflies are large, life-size and beautifully colored. The daytime display is just as beautiful as the lighted night show. The lights are steady on – no annoying blinking.INSTALLATION: Position the solar panels for best exposure to the sun. They will charge with ambient light but like with cloudy days and storms, the charging will take longer and perhaps be partial = less light duration at night. The solar panel is also the D2D (dusk to dawn) sensor – if you block it, the light will turn on (you can test the unit this way).Misc. Notes: It is not uncommon for lights of this type to come on at dusk at different times – variations in the light/shadows. It is best to allow at least a few inches from the soil to avoid rain splashed mud from covering the solar panel which will reduce their effectiveness. The solar panels should be checked for leaves and dust occasionally and cleaned with a soft cloth.WATERPROOF: This is rated as "IP65 waterproof" on the product webpage. The units do not have a waterproof hallmark and the included pamphlet does not mention anything about waterproof. A rating of IP65 is common for these solar panel/battery outdoor lights. However, IP65 is water-resistant. Waterproof and water/weather-resistant are two very different ratings. IP65 is dust-tight (6) and water-resistant (5) which is good enough for rain, snow or sprinkler but not for high-pressure jets or submersion. To be waterproof, you need a combination IPx6/IPx8 rating.

I think they would be a lot better if the lights were not colored. This makes it look very tacky as it's that bright color. They do stay lit way late into the night.

I've been pleased with these solar lights. I like these because they look good in the day and at night. In the day they are colorfully blended in my garden and at night they light up and give a nice glow. They were easy to set up, just pull the branches down and put in the ground. They have been holding a charge well into the night. We've had a good amount of thunder storms over the last month and are still working well. I do recommend these solar lights as they seem well made, look great and they are affordable.

The media could not be loaded. I am creating a walking path on the back 1/2 acre of my property that will have a solar garden for night time walks (when it's cooler to walk in our Northern Arizona summers) and bird feeders/baths along the fence line to support the local birds. This set of butterfly lights will make a great addition to the "magic" of the solar garden path.The two units are essentially plastic branches, but it is a sturdy plastic that feels solid and durable. The branches have fairy lights winding up with fabric butterflies attached. It's really lovely. The SOLAR CHARGING BATTERY is a decent charging unit, nothing fancy, but higher quality than some. There is only one light mode, but the colorful fairy lights are a nice illumination of the butterflies. There is an ON/OFF SWITCH. My video walks through the quality points.I love this set of lights and recommend with a 5-Star rating for a beautiful, quality product that is a great value and very giftable.
