My 10-year-old granddaughter just loved this dress and wore it on our visit to Mackinac Island in Michigan. She got so many compliments while wearing it and people all over were smiling at her and loving it. She was even asked if she was one of the re-enactors there! I also purchased the petticoat to go with it and it was also a quality item. We were very happy with the outfit!

I chose this because it's cute and I thought it would be darling for my daughter to wear to her classes. It definitely IS cute. She loves the teddybear bow that doubles as a doll. And she doesn't even mind that its brown. BUT the fabric is cheap and more costume than cottage-core. It feels fake, and more in the realm of a costume. But still cute.
