A real head scratcher!
At first I was very confused and wondering how this brush works. At the same time, I was wondering what the extra piece in the package was for. My brain was in a worse knot than my daughter’s hair … so I didn’t make the connection. I was wondering why the arms of the brush were flopping around but figured it must be how the brush works. Unfortunately it kept snagging on the knots in my daughters hair and making things worse … and making her squeal like a stick pig. Then it dawned on me. That extra piece was a bridge that separated each arm of the brush, and is adjustable with alignment pins and holes to space the arms apart at different intervals. Once I attached this little miracle piece, the brush quickly and smoothly combed the knots right out of her hair without the deafening screams. As a bonus, both daughters love the brush and apparently truffle black is en vogue for the elder of the two, so she’ll be happy to get her very own soon. Great product, super fast shipping, and loved by the kids. Can’t beat that!

I have thick hair which many combs and brushes have fallen victim to in breaking within two passes. I’m always looking for tools that make my hair care routine easier and this brush did just that and a bit more. Any tool that offers ease, minimizes damage to my hair, and is convenient for my lifestyle, is a staple tool!

perfect for tender head
i LOVE this brush. my 5 year old is very tender headed and this brush makes it easy to detangle her n 4c hair without any pain

Smaller brush missing, package opened. Larger brush works as described. Wished smaller brush was available to see if it worked too.

Flimsy
The combs on this brush are too flexible which causes you to use more force to comb through the hair. I had another brand that worked better. Will not work well on tangled, course hair.

Call me old fashioned, but I like hair brushes that aren't flappy. 🦋
Not really sure how to feel about this hair brush tbh. I got it for my daughter who has super thick and curly hair. The title specifically states it's good for that, but it's okay, I guess.The main thing I don't particularly like about this brush is the overly complex design. There's an adjustable plastic "thingamajig" that essentially allows you to change the shape of the paddle--for a fan shape you can attach it to the top of the paddle, for a typical brush shape you can put it in the middle.I tested it out on both settings, and I didn't find a single difference other than visually. In my opinion, the design of this brush is totally unnecessary. 🤣If you end up getting this brush anyway, please note that if you lose the thingamajig, you're completely screwed. Speaking from experience, if you have small children, be prepared for it to "disappear" on day one, never to be seen again. 😅 Without it, the brush is super flimsy and utterly useless.Long story short, this brush is certainly unique, but a little too extra for me. It could potentially be better if there were back-up thingies for when someone inevitably loses the first, but for now, I'm hopeful that mine will reemerge one day. Knowing my kids though, it's a goner. 🪦

This brush is odd, but it does work!
This brush is a little odd to me, but I was able to brush through my thick hair with it, and I was happy with how my hair looked and felt afterwards. I think this brush is more durable than it appears to be and so far it has worked nicely for me without any issues. It's easy to use, but it's a little hard to get used to how different it is. Overall I think this brush is a good value for the price!

The Brush Rake…is Strange!
It feels…strange! I don’t know how to describe this. It looks like a rake or a backscratcher. It does work as a backscratcher, By The Way.It’s a little scratchy and uncomfortable on my scalp but the ends look rounded. They feel sharp to my fingers and it does catch on my cotton jersey knit shirt. It does detangle, but it pulls. I like the holder better on the lower slots (the straight plastic thing that comes in the bag with the brush). I tried it without the holder and it was just a hard no. I thought it’d cushion a bit since it’s so thin and there’s a space in the middle of it, but it doesn’t feel any different from a plastic brush with a solid back. You have to press really hard to make that part move.So said, my hair is 2aFii, so I’m not the target audience, but I like to try new and different brushes because you never know when you’ll find a unicorn. This was not my unicorn. It might be yours? Shrug.P.S. The color is more of a fluorescent orange pink.
