This dog pen just arrived, and I installed it in about ten minutes. I love it. It is well made. It looks nice. The box was heavy, because this is steel and I got one of the bigger versions. But, each panel is fairly light - and separate. The fact that they are separate panels made it easy to conform to my space. You can use or omit panels easily. Great big “pins” (stakes) join the panels and then drive into the ground. Stable! Gate works. If you put it on top of concrete, it would be slightly less stable. And, it naturaly “stair-stepped” down a grass embankment, like a wrought iton fence would. Mine is for temporary use, but I could see this working long-term. If you are enclosing a dog, assume they will try hard to get over it, push against it, etc.. Buy tall.

Anyone looking for an easy way to contain your furry friends, this product is worth the money !! Lightweight, sturdy & very easy set up. After we set it up the first time, we immediately ordered a second one to use around our home patio :)

We adopted two 8 week old Huskies and this fence was above and beyond helpful.It has removable tiers with a gate built in one, and it worked well against the crate.We made it into a mini dog run for our pups.The metal is light, yet durable, easy to put together and a good height for pups.The swinging door and lock works perfect.I can easily move this to my living room, and yard.Great purchaseI would recommend this to anyone with a new pup.

I ordered this when my golden (name: Zephyr) was just a pup and first came home. It is SUPER easy to set up, just put the panels together and place the holder post inside the loops.Now that I have had it 1 & 1/2 years, I can really fill out a more complete review !!I love that this is built of very sturdy materials. It holds up well to "a beating" from my now 75 lb, very strong golden retriever.Because he is a puppy, he is constantly in to EVERYTHING. So when I do not have eyes on the dog, I put him in this pen. It, admittedly, does take up a fair amount of room in my family room, but it is absolutely worth it, as it contains the dog safely so I don't have to worry about him getting into something that will hurt him (including ME after he's chewed something else up!).When he first came home, we put Zephyr in a traditional (though very large) dog crate to sleep and when we were out of the house. I could tell he didn't like it, as he really fought us hard every time we tried to put him in the crate. We have found that he is content to be in this FXW pen both when we are out of the house at work/ school and to sleep (even though the pen is on a different floor / house level than the one on which we sleep).Now, I ordered extra panels and set up a pen in the family room and one in the living room. Our pen is the 40 inch tall version (WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY - ZEPHYR can jump over the baby gate that is only 34 inches tall). We found to our chagrin HE WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE 4-PANEL set up in the living room. He put his paws on the top, stood on his back legs, pushed, and that was enough to get the pen to lift and fall over.In the family room we have used 6 panels, and although Zephyr jumps up and puts his paws on the top of that, standing on his 2 back legs, to greet us, he has never (so far) been able to upend the hexagonal shaped pen.This pen was expensive, I admit. But the dog LIVES in this pen when we are away from home. We use it every single day. Knowing the dog is contained and safe when we are away from home is vital to my sense of security for him. And so although it was pricey, it was absolutely worth the price we paid.I would recommend this brand to anyone, and would STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ANYONE WITH A BIG DOG BREED to stick to this brand and style of pen!!! It is worth the extra money to get the 40" tall panels.

The media could not be loaded. The set up of this fence was very easy. We are planning to use it as a more permanent set up and sadly it’s not super sturdy and does wobble when you push on it. My dogs are about 30 and 60 lbs I knew if they saw a squirrel the fence would be plowed over so I decided to order some additional T fence posts and zip-tied the fence to those. That seemed to really help and make it much more sturdy but sadly it was an additional cost I wish we didn’t have to make. I think it would be perfect for a temporary set up but if you are wanting it long term it may need some tweaking. We also have a smaller version for our 5lb dog that does not have this problem it may just be the tall height (45inches) that makes it more top heavy and wobbly. I really enjoy the appearance the black metal looks very slick and allows my dogs to still watch there surrounding which they love. I was also kinda surprised that the gate is pretty far from the ground, it may be an issue if you have a short dog but my dogs didn’t mind jumping over it once they got used to it. It also came with 4 gates which surprised me! I definitely won’t use them all but i don’t mind them being there. Our area is pretty level but it did seem to adjust well in some areas that were higher than others. Overall I really do love this fence! Even though I had to make some adjustments to fit our needs, it may not have these issues in different sizes. I got 32 45” panels and placed it up against the house to get more square feet. Overall I think it is a good price and I hope it lasts us a very long time!

Perfect for my little dogs. Easy to set up and down for HOA rules. Very sturdy. Easy to work around oddly shaped areas. Also easy to adapt to uneven ground or sidewalk.

Quality: The pieces are well-constructed and smartly made. They have a nice finish and feel sturdy. They go together easily and are easy to move around.Our first camping trip using this and we were very happy with it. Our two dogs (medium to large dog and a small dog) had plenty of room and never got out. We were debating with getting the shorter one vs the 40”. We’re very happy we got the 40”.You can maneuver it into various shapes to fit your needs. On this trip (pictured) we put it under a nice sized shade tree.Overall, we are happy to have this dog enclosure.
