I purchased this Electric Blanket to replace one that caught on fire. ( Not same brand, this feels entirely safe!)I found when unwrapping this plush, almost a faux mink fur type fabric to be wildly soft and great looking! It is a silvery grey color that is a nice neutral tone to go with many other colors.I know the relief heating pads can give you, but had never made the correlation that a "heated blanket" could help ease my Lupus/Rheumatoid Arthritis pain. Well, I am SOLD on them now, and they've spoiled me for life!This HOMLYNS Electric Heated Blanket is as soft as a cloud, and as warm as a hug! This pampering beauty is plush on it's topside and is a cottony, cloud-soft fleece on the inside. It has as detachable cord ( which makes laundering  it easier, and yes, it is machine washable!) with a convenient control pad. It has multiple heat settings, and timers. How great is that! I usually wake up in tremendous pain, but now with heated blankets, I feel 20 years younger, and can face each day with a smile since I don't hurt like I normally do upon waking! I am also experiencing wonderfully restful and healing sleep. I am so glad I finally tried the practical and economical sleeping avenue of electric blankets. It is the perfect solution for me, and probably for you too, even if it's just to stay warm!My only complaint with this particular model, is that it is so lightweight, you can feel the heating coils inside.

I bought this to use under my fitted sheet to have a “heated bed” type sitch. It works perfectly. I set the heat all the way up, the timer to 8hrs and am so warm and cozy all night. I look forward to it everyday after being out in the cold working hours on end. It’s also soft as hell so it slides all under the sheet but for the buyers using it for its intended purpose, it’s incredible 😂

I am using it for my office which is over a cold garage! Works like my heated Jeep seats 🤣. Keeping me very warm. Very soft. Nice remote with timer.

Love this blanket! It fits nicely on my bed. Easy to use and has a lot of different options for heat and the timer. It gets warm quickly and evenly. It would be a great gift too!

Very light and warm. Attractive, light gray, and very soft.

Heating elements make up less than half of the surface area! Some elements do not heat at all and it heats unevenly for the section of the very thin cables that do. Since this is the main purpose of the blanket (heating) this is a complete failure. Further, the faux fur and Sherpa: maybe faux fur. Maybe. I can stretch my imagination to it's limit and maybe see that. The "Sherpa" however, is just a shorter and different color version of the faux fur! So... if they claim this is Sherpa, than the entire blanket is Sherpa of different lengths. The reality is that the blanket is neither really of either of those things. Even more so "Sherpa"! I am wondering if these marketing people even are aware of what that is?Since it is not as advertised in any way correctly I will state it accurately:This is a blanket of some FAKE longer Fur and some shorter FAKE fur that does not at all resemble Sherpa in any way which may or may not actually heat and if it does will be less than half of said blankets surface area HEATING BLANKET that is not very well made to begin with. There you go. Accurate advertising. Not so attractive once you view it the way you actually receive it is it?

Super soft and gets warm fast. I’ve already washed it in the machine according to the directions, and it came out perfect. Good buy.

I sleep in this every night now. It’s the perfect color gray and it’s so soft. It was easy to clean and I haven’t had any problems in the last couple of months I have been using it. My cats also love it.
