I make a lot of dumplings (gyoza, soup dumplings, won tons, etc.) and have never cared for the subtle woody flavor note added by my ancient bamboo steamer basket.I tried this 10” steamer on a whim, and it works perfectly for steaming, and indeed eliminates my flavor issue. Easy to clean and small enough to tuck into my pan drawer, but best of all, 1/3 of the price of “traditional” steamers.

I have not used this yet. I believe it will be a good product. Wished it had a handle, but not a deal breaker.

This was a perfect fit for my pot, however, it was damaged when I received it. Husband was able to straighten out the dent and crease so it was usable. The feet could be a little taller.

Good product, just remember it is not a flexible steamer so will need to be used in an appropriate pan size.

This product is not made of the strongest metal but could be useful for poaching fish or vegetables. However, it is not useful for canning. No sturdiness to prevent jars from knocking around and limited size.

Arrives bent in an envelope. Way too flimsy. Definitely stay away from this one. It’s basically disposable garbage.
