Let Your Photography SHINE With GLOSSY.
I bought this paper with two things in mind and that was to show buyers what A3+ was against A3.As a photographer and when I`m asked to do portraits, I always get that question and it’s hard for a customer to visualize it even when you have told them the dimensions. Most customers I deal with prefer this size as it is often within their price range as compared to say A2 and upwards. So now I can just bring them two examples of frames with sample images. The second thing and in my mind the most important, is the quality of the paper and I use it for Black & White Portraits. For some reason “we all have our own” but I thinks B&W`s are more suited for this glossy tone especially when I use PS to finish with a slightly softer finish. Now of course it all depends to the person you are taking images of but you get the point.I can’t fault this paper for what I`m using it for and some might say it’s on the expensive side but just look at the Ilford papers and prices and I believe Canon Papers are right up there with them.I just love the deep rich blacks you get with this paper and in my opinion their worth every penny but again it’s up to you, buy cheap papers and you will be wasting expensive ink.10/10 for safe delivery and speed for Amazon.

Stunning results
If you want the best results you have to pay! Using a canon Pro 9000 MKII printer and the printer profile that came with it for this paper, I have achieved stunning results! I had printed a particular photo on jessops A3 gloss. Although a good print, it was not quite big enough for the frame and border I had bought, so I went for the Canon Pro Platinum A3+ and found the results were significantly better. The final result was truly professional quality.Even with this paper it does take some effort. I have never been able to produce prints that match the screen and have been largely disappointed until I bought the new 9000 MKII printer. My old Canon 8500 prints had a magenta cast that made the prints flat in my attempts to over come it. A technique that works for most of my recent work, on the 9000, is to desaturate the screen by 30% in Photoshop CS3 (edit, color settings)and switch on gamut warning (view). Then select a new adjustment layer, Hue/Saturation, and adjust the hue up until the gamut warning shows. Its not infallible but most times the print turns out much closer to the screen view.

The best that I've used, apart from metallic.
Well worth the money - the best review is to go online and get the comparisons with other products from the professionals - this gets really good reviews. I have used better paper than this, but it's metallic and really expensive. In my own opinion, having used this product a lot, I can say that the colours are vibrant, and that they haven't faded at all over the past year. Canon gives this paper a fade rating in the decades - whether this is true or not, they seem confident in their product. Quite expensive, but for the best photos it's worth it.

Stunning Prints
I purchased this paper, even though I have an Epson printer. Beware it is A3 plus size and therefore will not fit an A3 printer unless you are prepared to guillotine it to size - which is what I did.The prints it produces are simply stunning. I have tried quality Epson papers, but decided to try this on the recommendation of a friend. I was not disappointed. Excellent quality for a very reasonable price.

Amazing quality for the price, normally pay a lot more for paper that gives this quality of print.

Fantastic quality - but why only 10 sheets?
Ok so the reason I've dropped a star is not because of quality or service, both get 5/5 for that. However I'm a little narked at the fact that I can buy 20 sheets of A3, but can only get 10 sheets of A3+, I guess the solution is to buy two boxes, but at £2.40/sheet that can be a little wallet busting. As for the quality, having used this paper before (always with Canon Ink) I've been blown away by the results when printing with the PT101 paper, colours were bright and accurate and at 300g/sqm (80lbs) it just feels the right. It would be good if Canon also did a matt in this range. In summary if you have an important image that just needs to look right, buy & use the PT101 paper, yes it's expensive, but quality always is, don't buy a lower cost paper and wish you had bought this, if your serious about photography, you need serious paper, it's as basic as that.

Excellent Photographic Paper by Canon
This paper is amazing quality, the gloss coating is uniform and te paper has a good weight. Printing results on my Canon Pixma Pro 10s is simply stunning, colour are vivid (for pigment ink) and tonal gradients are sublime. The paper dries almost instantly and the finished results are amazing. I 100% recommend the Canon Platinum Paper, buy with confidence.
