Great for the price
Cannot complain at all for the price. I got an 8ft 3/8 mesh for about $45.Would've liked to have gotten the 1/4" mesh, but wasn't available. For the price, it works great and has gotten me loads of bait, which resulted in my first two flounder catches. Also caught a stingray in it.

10' Castnet
Works great, Driver handed it to me. Went in the house opened it, and to the front yard grass I went. Love the nets. Worked like a charm.

It does what it's supposed to do but....
As a lifetime Foridian now living in Ohio I have owned and thrown cast nets all my life (and that's a long time). This is not a top notch cast net and the price reflects that. I also have to point out that the net only has a 5lb lead line and it states 6 lb lead line in the listing..(1lb per ft ) so that is incorrect. That being said if the top 3rd of the net and the bottom 3rd of the net were reinforced to allow for more durability this net would be pretty nice. I will say this net HAS to be soaked before you throw it. All nets should be though. If you buy this net or own it already and just can't get consistent pancakes out of it...place the net horn side first and the lead line on the top to hold it submerged in a 5 gallon bucket with 2 cap fulls of Downey fabric softner and enough water to completely submerge the net and lead line ...leave it in there over night. Remove it and spray it off with the hose.....hang the net with the lead line on the ground and let it dry. Before you go fishing spray it down and put it in the bucket preferably for 30 min or so. Trust me this will make every monofilament cast net softer, more pliable and make it open and function better. I always put a lil Vaseline on the brain lines too. Over all ...for the price a 4 star item.

Easy to use & comes with repair needle & thread.
Heads up, this net throws pretty good but I suggest placing it into a 5 gallon bucket to soak with a mild soap, then rinse good & hang it up to dry in direct hot sunlight because it's a stuck together mess right out of the bag as shipped. The rope is good quality but will be a mess too. Stretch that rope out with the weight of the net hanging on it to remove the tangled memory so it can be used without giving you future headaches.Having the repair needle & thread is a nice add to the deal. The woven specially treated tire lines material seems to throw & spread out better than nylon or mono nets. The 1/2" mesh is a little to large for real small minnow type bait fish, anything under 3" long will likely slip thru & escape, otherwise great overall size & it sinks well.Only time will tell how it holds up in normal conditions but that's with anything nowadays, if you frequent areas with heavily shelled or sharp rocky bottoms like some do & then complain about their nets tearing apart, be prepare to keep buying replacement nets ! Tight Lines :)

Great net
The weight could be a little heavier. But for the price it works great

It works
Bought 10ft radius, true 20ft open.Netting is not very durable-Packaged in nice square bucket with lid, but handle won't attach unless drill holes bigger.-Net is packed in a way it can't be used directly from bucket, stiff and wadded up.-Soaked in 5gal bucket with fabric softener for 2 days. Hung in shop for a day to dry and straighten out.-Net is fairly lightweight for it's size but good for repeat throws and throws further than expected. Don't know about sink rate yet.-Practiced in my grass lawn for about 15 minutes and a fairly large tear appeared.Sewn it up...sucks every time.I'll update after casting for bait out on boat.

Disappointed in product
I got it not even 3hours ago when I took pictures I got it, wanted to open it and see it and found little half inch holes in it and will probably rip more than it is if I use it brand new.

Best cast net iv seen 4 ft monofilament 3/8th i purchased
I knew nothing about cast nets or how to use them i purchased this one and honestly it casts beautifully i caught 110 minnows from 5 casts and i was very happy with the product went with the 3/8 mono net 4 ft plenty enough now i dont have to buy minnows again works like a charm worth every penny and very easy to use i was skeptical at first but man does it work like a charm trust me invest in one of these 6 bucks a dozen the nets already payed for itself with baitfish!

Works well
We had to watch some YouTube videos to figure out how the pros use these nets. We’re getting the hang of it. Caught some small fish in the surf already

Producto usado.
