Just fits a 5 gallon bucket. Sturdy and well made. I personally will add handles for my own comfort. All while keeping a lower price.

The pic is of the sieve sitting on top of a standard 5 gallon bucket just in case anyone wonders about "the fit". It's perfect. I purchased this mostly so I won't have to buy such a variety of gardening soils. With this sieve it is possible for me to sift out the larger pieces in a bag of garden soil for specific potting needs. Sometimes I want lots of larger particles and sometimes I prefer just soil. I can create what I want for individual pots with this sieve. An alternate use for this for me, is to collect vegetables and flowers in it or also use it when I'm deadheading plants. I'm a small space gardener with only about 800 square feet total for lawn, flowers and vegetables. I keep this on a hook on the patio and have quickly found it to be a multipurpose garden tool. It seems quite sturdy and I expect to be able to use it for a long time.
