They are true to size, they don't jip you with smaller rocks than advertised. They are genuine lava rocks, no filler or super dirty ones. And you can't best the price. These worked great in my project.

Hi, we just finished constructing our fire pit and put these lava rocks in. They are not meant for fire pits! They explode and turn into flying hot projectiles. I would like a refund on these.

These rocks say they are for a propane fire pit. The first time I used them, a hot rock exploded and burned several holes in the chairs around the fire. I thought it was a one-time thing but instead, it happened again two to three times before I simply turned the fire off and discarded them.

The rocks when heated started popping, splintered and became projectiles. They were dangerous. We were lucky they didn’t hurt us or fly in our eyes. They ended up burning holes in several of our patio couch cushions.
