It works
I wouldn't say these are for people to use by themselves. As a right hand dominant, I could use it to trim hair on one side but not the other. Maybe instead of making two identical product. Try to make it like a gloves, so that you can use it one both sides withiut blinding yourself.

It will do the job but if I drop it, it will break. The plastic is not very forgiving.
