big value
These poles are extraordinary for the money. Very substantial indeed.

great rod for the money
I needed two inexpensive trolling rods for mahi fishing in key largo. For the price I figured worst case scenario I replace them once they break. These rods worked flawlessly on not only mahi, but Tuna and Bonito But these are old school trolling rods with lots of flex almost like the old fiberglass rods of the 70s. That said I will be buying two more shortly.

Excellent choice for trolling big inshore fish.
Rod handled incredibly well, have caught many big fish on it including 18 plus pound bluefish. Has a nice backbone and well made. Would buy again without hesitation. There are no negatives about this rod.

Broke in half
When i first got the rod i though it was awesome. The pole was super sensitive and had a decent back bone with great castability but last night i broke it in half by trying to set the hook which surprise the hell out of me.
