Good set of planters

The size is great, the drainage system is great, but 2 out of the 5 leaked out of the bottom until i realized there were holes from when the plastic was removed from the machine. My hubby sealed up the holes with some goop and now we're good!

The only downfall is they leak very easily. They are the exact shape and size I was looking for so I am very happy with them. I learned to only water a very small amount more frequently.

Sturdy when loaded with soil. Cute modern look that compliments my deck areas colors. Not sure how well the self watering feature works. I don’t trust it honestly but that’s ok. It works well enough and I consider the self watering feature as a back up watering method.

The sturdy plastic construction provides ample support for wet soil and plants, ensuring minimal flexing and maximum stability. The planter and reservoir are joined together, though they can be detached with some effort. These pieces are connected by plastic feet that securely snap into corresponding holes. However, once the planter is filled, it becomes impractical to separate them without risking spills.While Planterhoma claims that these are self-watering planters, I believe that the purpose of the reservoir is just to collect excess water. This planter set does not include wicks. Usually, self-watering planters include wicks that help draw water from the reservoir into the soil.One bonus, is that two bags of hydroponic clay balls are included. These help with aeration, root growth, and efficient nutrient uptake. In addition, they help reduce the need for frequent watering. Planterhoma did not incorporate instructions with further details regarding this hybrid growing technique.The planters have a manufacturing flaw - a somewhat inconsistent coloration. Two distinct tones or waves can be observed across the body of the plastic planters.

They are more then what i thought they would be. I grow succulent in them. It is way easier to grow and drain the water with these containers.
