It's a beast!
Much more powerful than I actually needed for my garden, but the specs and price was right. It's actually 3 times the power of the pump that runs my house. I'm considering swapping them out and using this one in my house. I had to call their customer service a couple of times. They responded quickly and completely. They did confirm that it is a 24 month warranty, not the 18 written on the box. I kept a copy of their text in case I need it down the line. I did have to make a couple of trips to the HD to get the fittings I needed for my application. I replaced the plastic fittings that came with the pump with brass ones. I didn't understand the instructions that said you have to have a check valve on the intake and on the output. I have one on the input line and installed a small gate valve on the output instead of a check valve. Good product so far. Puts out a firehose amount of water. They told me to use 1" input line even though the input fitting is 3/4" hose connector. No biggie. I will.

Do not buy! Locks up and shuts down electrical circuit
Pump worked great for about a week. Then it began locking up and overloading our inverter and shitting our entire power system down. We live off grid and bought this pump for our water system in our house. When it works it works great, however it locks up about 2-3 times a day. I have taken the pump cover off to look for obstructions and there is not any so it is in the motor. We had to purchase another pump from Lowe’s to run our system. Save yourself the frustration and buy something else.

Fantastic, but don't forget a check valve
This pump works great and is very quiet, enough that I'm using it to pressurize the gray water lines in the house. It works fast and efficiently to build the proper pressure. With proper fittings, it doesn't leak at all. Just make sure it has a check valve somewhere near the inlet if you want the pressure to stabilize. It does come with two plastic 1" NPT to "garden hose" connections, for the curious.

cant go wrong!
bought this to go camping off grid for a week and it never failed. i took the time to make a suction inlet pipe out of 1.5 inch pipe and i made it have a T fitting on the top with a ball valve and also put a anti drain back valve on the bottom of the pipe inside the hole. I filled the pipe with water from a bucket and closed the ball valve. now the whole thing was quickly primed and flipped the switch, instant water! i had this running two campers and a kitchen with no water pressure issues. for the price i would not think twice about buying this again verses any other cheaper pump!

It's a good worker!
I installed this Bomgie 1.5HP Shallow Well Pump to draw water out of a pond and supply it as running water to the old camp house. It works like a charm! It was easy to install, once I had all of the adapters in hand. I did have to take the plumbing apart once to add more teflon tape at the water connection points on the pump due to leakage, so be sure to pile that on when you do your installation. Priming is easy and the pump easily "caught on" to the lake water once I properly filled the line down to the pond. (Of course, I have a foot valve at the pond end of the pipe to keep the line filled between uses.) The suit is fully self-contained (i.e., it comes with an automatic pressure switch, a pressure gauge, and a proper power cord) so installing it is only a plumbing project, and a fairly easy one at that. I installed that under the house rather than down at the pond (as some people would do) and the unit had no difficulty pulling the water the roughly 75 feet horizontal distance (and 10 feet elevation increase) to the house.
