Great Cable Replacement Option
The best thing about this wireless system is no more DMX cables run everywhere. Dragging cables around and having to run them are not my favorite things to do. That fact alone is enough to justify the price not to mention the cost savings of not having to buy DMX cables is substantial as I am sure you know. This system is easy to set up, you may want to keep an array of short extension cords around as the power cables are on the short side. I like that these are not battery powered, in my opinion batteries bring issues, dead battery, bad battery oops forgot to charge the batteries ect. I have had no connection issues such as dropped connection ect. Overall, I am pleased and I would buy these again. 5 STARS

Very functional wireless DMX TX/RX
I've always been fascinated with lights and I guess that's why I'm always getting new and different lights and lighting accessories. My wife is a yoga instructor and I set up a state of the art lighting system in her studio that would be the envy of any nightclub in the world. I ordered this set of wireless DMX transmitter/receivers and have replaced many of the DMX cables with these. In my experience, they work great. Their function in my wife's studio is pretty basic but for my needs they do a great job. Set up was a breeze and in terms of performance I honestly can't tell the difference between these and the DMX cables. Highly recommended!

3 Pin, not 5 pin, power plug blocks DMX out
This is a 3-pin system, if you are using 5-pin DMX you will need an adapter. You may need a pigtail even if you are using 3-pin as the power is on the same side as the DMX out so you may not be able to daisy chain your lights. As I was not prepared to have to use 3 to 5 pin adapters I will have to further review once I am able to purchase or make some and can actually use the product.

Excellent DMX transmitter/receivers
This setup is really amazing! I can't imagine that the "professional" versions are going to be this good without paying many times this price. The connections are fast and strong and this allows you control a huge array of lights without having very long cable runs. For the small venue, this is a really good product and will definitely help makes things easier to manage!

Professional Grade - No Built In Battery
I'm relatively new to DMX lighting setups and I'm still learning how to properly use my dmx controller. One thing was certain though, I knew I needed a wireless solution to control my dj lights, smoke machines, etc., so I decided to pick up this wireless dmx receiver and transmitters from Vangoa so I wouldn't have cables running all over the place.First impressions, the traveling case is impressive, it's well built, very organized, and will protect the equipment for years to come. The hardware is also built very well, each transmitter and the receiver seem solid and they don't feel cheap by any standard. My only gripe with this setup is that there is no built in battery for the transmitters or receiver. This ultimately means you have to plug them in to make them work (hence the 1 star reduction). While there are just 7 transmitters, this means you could have 7 groups of lights if you simply daisy chain each group; thus, this setup could control a huge array of equipment which saves me time and money by not having to make long cable runs.Pairing was simple, even for a novice such as myself, simply use the included allen wrench to choose a pairing color and make sure all the transmitters are on the same color channel (i.e. red, green, blue, etc.).Controlling the lights is instantaneous, there is no delay at all and once paired I had no connection issues at all.If you're looking for a way to reduce the amount of cables you use to run a light show, this is a great option to streamline the process, overall, very happy with everything, just wish they had batteries so they could be ran without AC power whenever it would be more convenient.

Dmx made way easier!
These wireless receivers and transmitter make it so much easier to set up and arrange a dmx lighting setup. Much less cords and cables to deal with as a result. Now they're not battery powered so the devices themselves still require power just like the dmx do. But now I don't have to run hundreds of feet of xlr cables all over the place. Work great.

Failed
Testing in a controlled environment all worked fine. As soon as I deployed in a public location they failed to connect with each other on all channels.
