Once I had found the right tips for these earplugs they worked well for me, blocking the construction noise from next door quite well. The disc on which the tips are mounted sits comfortably in the ear and makes the earplugs easy to remove, and they are comfortable to wear in bed because of their very low profile.The tips are quite hard to both remove and install - fiddly and difficult to insert on the pin on the disc - but that does offer confidence they will stay in place in the ear. I have no idea what the "noise cancellation" claim is about - these are passive earplugs and do not "cancel" noise in any way, just block it. The box is a nice touch, especially with a mirror in the lid, but the space for the constructed tip is designed for a small earpieces only.These are fairly good value and I am quite pleased with them.

As the set came with 2 different sizes it's easy to find comfort. They fit inside the ear and so don't cause aches. They did feel odd on the first night but much better the night after
