The second I opened it water dripped all-over my feet, seems like it was used, cleaned and then sent to me.

It was a good starter machine! I usually let the machine preheat 20 mins before using, and let hot water run through the brewhead first to preheat it. I run some water through afterwards too to help remove buildup. The whole thing was easy to use, but it is a little hard to wrench the portafilter off. The suction cups on the bottom help a little to stabilize. Love the large water reservoir too.I am a little bummed that the DeLonghi portafilters don't fit onto this one but that's ok.The crema it produced was pretty good. I think if you let everything preheat properly then temps are a little more stable, all in all it's a great starter machine for someone who isn't going to be too much of a nerd about the whole process!

Really great espresso maker. Amazing pressure abilities and everything else. In love with it!

Following the manual made the setup process relatively easy and quick, although it was a bit tricky at times. I finally managed to set it up successfully, especially after dealing with the part where I had to remove the tape from the water track; without doing that, the machine wouldn't work properly.but its perfect like having starbucks coffe at home.

I'm very new to brewing and found this machine to be pretty user friendly. The instructions were clear and easy to read and set up went fairly quickly. We've made a few drinks with these and have enjoyed them so far. The cleaning, not so much. It's easy enough to use but the frother is definitely something to get used to.

I'm new to using espresso machines, so my knowledge on comparable products are quite limited. However, I have been a devout drip coffee maker over the years and know what I like. That said, I found using this product to be fairly easy to use my first time. I will say that the milk frother isn't the greatest and I find that my standalone frother does a much better job. Not a huge issue for me since I have options, but for those that want an all-in-one machine that works well, you might want to look into other units with better performing frothers.
