Out of the 5 big pieces I used 4 but one was not peeling off the white paper and I had it on the couch already so I had to rip it off completely and toss it. I used 4 of the big panels and 2 of the smaller ones, they were not that hard to place and use but a little annoying trying to peel off the side when it’s already stuck on the couch.I didn’t realize it’s sticky on both sides so when it’s on the furniture and you walk by and touch the couch with your legs or pants they stick to it.

It has worked on my cats, they don't try to scratch that area.But you know how smart cats are; they are trying to scratch above the sticky area where I did not cover it. However, they grew bored because I covered the area they most liked.But cats are smarta$$ and they know how to work around anything, if they were made into humans they would take over the world with how smart they are. However, thankfully, they have left my sofa alone.It works, and it gets peeled off pretty easily. However, the only con is, to tie your hair back before you bend near your sofa for anything. It's ripped my hair out a little. Meaning, it is sticky!I am glad I purchased it.

The product deters the cats from scratching and was easy to apply. The adhesive is phenomenal but things like our couch throw and pillow have gotten stuck to it. However, if you do not have anything on your couch these are a great way to deter your cat from ripping through your furniture. Both of my cats have stopped scratching the furniture where the product was applied. Happy customer and would buy again.

My biggest problem I have with this product is that it is falsely advertised. Let me be very clear, these are NOT ANTI CAT SCRATCH FURNITURE PROTECTORS. And you WILL NOT RECEIVE A CORNER COUCH PROTECTOR. This is ACTUALLY double sided TAPE FOR CAT TRAINING. It is sticky on both sides so that the cat will be uncomfortable and, hopefully, not claw that spot on the chair. It is the SAME THICKNESS AS SCOTCH TAPE folks. Does NOT protect your furniture. Simply a training tool. ALSO FALSELY ADVERTISED as being made of NEW materials that can easily be removed, leaving no residue behind on furniture. WARNING-this product should NOT be used on leather or faux leather furniture. Unfortunately, I got it for my leather chair. And I did use it before I found this out. However, there is ONE good thing about this product. It IS transparent. (People, it is not white. Ya gotta peel the backing off. It’s just the backing. Peel it off.) So, what I’m going to do is, stick a piece of clear poster frame plastic over it. I thought about using thick, clear vinyl but the cats will destroy that and then I’ll have that permanently stuck to my chair as well. So, in closing, what you actually get here is some double sided tape folks. And it’s not bad quality, and it’s a pretty good value too, so I don’t know why they would advertise this product under false pretenses. Good luck all!UPDATE: Here we are approximately 8 months later, I just peeled it off and just LOOK at what it did to my chair. Like, OMG it destroyed it. Not only did it take pieces of the chair off with it but NOTHING removes the sticky residue. And believe you me I tried EVERYTHING. Furniture protector? I think NOT!

I use this on the door to keep the cats from scratching it. I don't want to put the sticky side directly on the wood so I use painters masking tape around the edges of the sheet. I then pull off the covering so that the sticky side is exposed. It works well. I do wish it was a little easier to separate the covering from sheet.

Works wonders as described and pack comes with several extra to use later or in other places your little likes to scratch that you don't approve of. Highly recommended and will definitely buy again thank you

Our 5 cats have been doing some damage to the corner of our sofa and a lounge chair. We've tried sprays, mats, posts, discipline, etc. to stop them without success. Vet suggested this product. Well... Fairly easy to cut and apply and visually kind of melted in for a few weeks. Now turning brownish in color, so obvious from across the room. Also, after about a week, it did not deter the cats. In fact, they started walking on it (on the arm of sofa) like a game and then began tearing at it. We worried they might get it stuck to their paws, try to lick it off, and potentially choke, so we tried to removed it. We worked slowly, but in the end, it tore the woven fabric and now the corner of the sofa/arm look worse than ever. Would not recommend to others for that reason alone!
